Sandro's Family Restaurant

This family run place offers outstanding food and exceptional customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of food options, and they also offer a dinner buffet. I tried the Philly Steak Sandwich and Chicken Piccata, which comes with a choice of pasta or potato, and salad or soup. The flavors were excellent; the chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy and just right. They also serve complimentary home-baked bread and butter. The sweetest things was receiving a candy after the meal. There’s ample seating, though you might experience a short wait during peak hours. I highly recommend this spot when you're in the city.

We had a lovely time here! We needed a break from our 30 hour road trip, and it was was just what we needed. We got the chicken wings and fries, the gnocchi and a strawberry lemonade. The wings were perfect, the Thai sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and spice. And the fries reminded me of what you’d get a fish and chips shop. The handmade gnocchi was delicious, the sauce was very normal but absolutely acceptable. We got our food very fast and our waitress took great care of us. Very modern and clean environment. Would absolutely recommend!

Me and my mom had our Thanksgiving dinner here. The turkey was delishious,as well as the potatoes and gravey and the stuffing was quite tasty as well and nice and hot.There was also ham, which I didn't care for. I thought it was cut too thin and cooled off too quickly. We also had apple pie which we didn't care for. The apples weren't cooked as well as they could have been and the crust was too think and too crunchy. As for the service it was great. Our waitress was very attentive and hospitable as well. Overall, our dinner experience was very enjoyable. Thank you

We were traveling to Alberta and stopped at Sandro's on Mother's Day. We managed to book the last table. The food was excellent! Considering the full house, the service was very good and cheerful. The crowd was in a festive mood. The price was reasonable
I would stop there again.

Kids Friendly clean restaurant, welcoming staff, tasty, fresh food and large portions is what you will find at this restaurant. We ordered Spaghetti, Shrimp Florentine, Risotto Jumbo shrimp, chicken parmigiana and Smothered Chicken.

We walked in and sat down quickly, no wait. Waiter was very attentive and conversational. We had the buffet and thr hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Drinks were always full and the empty plates disappeared. Table, chairs & washroom clean. Good meal for people passing through! Thanks!

Hands-down best pizza in town. There’s not even competition anymore. I’ve yet to have a bad meal from here no matter what we ordered. It’s our go-to for the Sault. (Pic is a day-old piece of meat-lovers from the pizza i ordered yesterday and it’s still so good it’s ridiculous 🤤)

We just had a delicious breakfast with grilled fried potatoes and onions, the coffee was better than tims and we got refills. “Ladies”the washroom was clean lol. As we we’re paying saw pie for dessert, they have a lady that makes them, sorry too early to have one. And my husband liked the antipasto mix in Spanish omelet and they let us buy some. Please try this place.

Excellent food and service. I had the liver and onions and my husband had the hot turkey sandwich. Both of us enjoyed our meals. Portions are good. I brought about half of my meal home and my husband brought a good portion of his fries home. I made a point of telling the waitress that my dinner was the best I had ever had. I order liver and onions while out because I do not get liver at home because I am the only one who eats it. The liver was very tender and flavourful, the mixed beans and baby carrots were in a delicious butter sauce and I think the mashed potatoes had cream cheese in them. We have ordered their pizza and wing combo to take out in the past. This was very good as well.

Compare to my local Italian restaurant, the Italian tour dish is less salty which gives other people some chance to adjust how much salt in the dish, but I will pbbly recommend the buffet instead, you only pay 2dollors more and u get much more to eat. The wings and pizza seems to be very popular, wait time for the pizza is 1hour due to take out, which turned me into wings tonight, avg taste for the wing, lots of people is the sign for the taste of this restaurant! Stuff is friendly, you can see they solve the issues from other table and people left with smiley face, maybe should try their morning buffet next time when I am around

Sandro's is always awesome! It's our go-to place for take-out, but also a great family eatery to bring our out of town friends to when we want to show them the meaning of Sault Ste. Marie.

Take out. Pizza. Always get one heading out to the lake when I drive up from Windsor/Detroit area. Grabbed some butter tarts this time. What a MISTAKE! They are soooooo good. Not overly sweet. I hear the pies are good. Oh boy. More swimming at the lake needed!! Old style pizza. Get one every time. Perfecto!

The food here was delicious! We took part in their buffet and food options were great for the price, and everything tasted great!
The staff here works like clockwork, tending to cuatomers' needs, all hands on deck, refilling buffet items, cleaning tables, and making the dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. No one had to be told or asked to do anything, it seems like second nature for them to complete the task at hand, no complaints, no questions asked, which is so refreshing to see nowadays!
We are from out of town, but will definitely come back here to dine when we come back. Thank you for everything!!

Pizza was delicious, I ordered the deluxe large pizza. Price of it was 21$. I enjoyed it that night and leftovers for breakfast. The dough was light, tasty and toppings were plenty. Pleasant staff. I'd recommend over corporate pizza places, anytime.

My daughter and I went to dinner there last night, and I couldn’t believe how busy it was There I hardly never go out for dinners. But as soon as we walked in, they approached us and were very courteous. They got us a table right away which was surprising we had no wait. The waitress came to the table right away and got our drink order, then came back right away which was amazing as she was very busy. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, with fettuccine Alfredo with a side Caesar, and my daughter had chicken Parmesan with spaghetti with a side Caesar. We had our meals within 15 minutes, a very hot. This was the best chicken Parmesan I have had at a restaurant ever!! Very tender, and delicious flavour, the fettuccine was cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was so delicious also. My daughter loved her dinner also. I will definitely be back for this, and can’t say enough about the staff. Very professional and accommodating.
