Aubrey our server was wonderful. Haven’t been to Famous Daves for a long time. I’m really glad we stopped by. The ribs are really, really good. You could taste the smokiness all the way down to the bone on the chicken.

We came for a late birthday lunch and had a great time. The food was delicious and service went above and beyond. Alisha was very attentive and a great bartender. Tom the manager has a great personality and is friendly. We will definitely come back.

Throwback decor BBQ restaurant in Rockford with the best ribs ever. St Louis cut is the best and biggest rib. FDs serves rib tips as well. Selections most BBQ places don't offer. The beans are the best beans I've tasted, and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend. Easy 5 star review here.

Best comfort food in months!!!! Everything was fantastic including the bartender who was also our server! Old time nostalgia adorns the place. Great prices as well. Worth every cent 😀

Son! I been doing service call all over America for 45 years. This was the best BBQ I ever ate. The meat was tender and not greasy. The sauces compliment the smokey meat. So glad someone recommended this place. Waitress was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Kept the drink glass full. Can't wait until I can come again.

My friend and I were looking for a nice place to get a drink really quick and it turns out Famous Dave's was the perfect choice. The Jameson Peach Tea that Alicia, our bartender and waitress, made for us was to die for and even though we only got drinks, everyone was so nice and made us feel welcome. We will be going back very soon to get dinner and drinks cuz Famous Dave's is amazing!! 🤩

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, our server was very attentive. We enjoyed Texas brisket, Georgia Pork, St. Louis Ribs, and of course some rib tips (I love 'em and you usually get a lot, since many people feel they are inferior)! All the meat was tender with a modest amount of bbq sauce. We had plenty of other sauces at the table to choose from for additional meat-smothering goodness. We rounded it off with some broccoli and Wilbur beans. Seating was okay due to coming in at 3pm, but I can imagine rush hour being a bit cramped. My advice would be to come either mid afternoon or after 7pm for the best seating and service.

The hostess was friendly and polite.
Anna our waitress was personable and always checked in on us. Overall an amazing experience! The food was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend checking this establishment out.

Service was incredible perfect location in the CherryVale area in Rockford. We spent 80 dollars on a combo 2 racks of ribs, a whole chicken. Fries, baked beans, Cole slaw, BBQ Pork or brisket, dinner rolls I may have forgotten something but it was more then a enough to feed 4-5 people we even had lefted overs. Great food and a relaxing atmosphere.

Great Service, staff that cares and you can tell. Food was delicious and hot. We tried a couple Cocktails that were great as well. They have a full bar and many options on their menu for a group of diverse appetites. We will definitely be back!

The food was awsome, couldn't ask for better customer service, shout out to Tom and the catering employee! I do recommend eating here, this is definitely one of my go to restaurants when I am in town now.

We eat at Famous Dave's in Rockford Illinois due to the consistency of the food and excellent service we receive.It is a win win when you leave feeling valued as a consumer. Our preferred meal is the All American platter.We consider it a one and done alternative with anything that doesn't get eaten that sitting a bonus for another meal. Omar makes an amazing effort to ask if our order was prepared to our liking and if we may have any other needs. We have always received exceptional service from the Famous servers and we appreciate that so much .Thank you for working tirelessly to feed our families in Rockford Illinois.

Best ribs in town, 🐖🐷the St. Louis ribs were just 🙊out of this world. Highly recommend. Affordable and great location.

Nothing better than ribs !!! I had pick 2 rib tips & st Louis ribs, corn ,corn muffin , fries, & 1/2 slab, broccoli , corn muffin. Great waitress !

Love the food! It's a fair price in my opinion and It's a great place to go out for dinner at!
