had the carnitas plate. it was excellent! I highly recommended! food was fast, hot and delicious. service was amazing. washed it down with the best aqua horchata I've had in a while! I will return when I'm in the area again

We're not the "dine in" type. We usually order for carryout. This place is so accommodating for all customers. The portion sizes are plentiful and every time we order, they send a bag of chips and a cup of their salsa. The food is amazing! Always tip your cook on carryout orders! They deserve it! Love this place!

The Tropical plate is incredible, the shrimp and vegetables mixed with pineapple is especially delicious. I had the Queso cheese sauce extra covering the whole dish. Highly recommend......

My last visit here was to celebrate my mother's birthday. The service was excellent. The food was amazing! The pitcher of Margarita caught us off guard. Ha,ha, boy, was it strong and tasty!

This was our 1st restaurant since March that is open to outdoor seating. My girlfriend and I was blown away with taste and Flavors of the food. 5 stars best Mexican restaurant so far in the southern Illinois area to make us happy 😊.

We will definitely come back again and i am sure it will be next week.

The Fajitas are excellent. Had the chicken and the steak both excellent. ( I can make better Spanish rice at home!) I did make my version of Loaded Fajitas no rice and was excellent but if you go eat out get their Fajitas with chips & salsa!!!!!

Either it's Winter, Summer, raining, or shine--- this place has what you need.
Spicy, to sweet. Chicken to fish, and even beef!
Great meals with extravagant texture and flavors. Their drinks are always refreshing, and are always filled.
The kid's meals are wonderful as well.

The waiters and cooks are extremely welcoming, and will help you when needed.
Either it being the TV too loud, or one slight thing wrong with the food. They will make you happy, and more.

The food is cheap, and good.

Tequila's is my "local" Mexican restaurant and always serves great meals and Margaritas.🍹
My friends and I enjoyed lunch and sat a while chatting. It's good when you're not being rushed out the door folks!
Well worth a visit.

Tequilas staff are too notch; friendly, professional, and courteous. Take out is super quick (waited about 10 minutes from order to leaving with food). Chicken fajita taco salad is a family favorite.

Tequilas is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Carbondale. Reasonably priced. Great staff. Bright colors. The food is always on point. Always very cool inside so bring a sweater! Thank you for always being amazing!

The food at tequila's is very good. What I really like is the food is piping hot. Sometimes you go to restaurant and your food comes to your table cold. But this is not the case at tequila's. They do a great job!
