I want you all to succeed. But-
No bacon cheddar scones!
No espresso chip scones.
Many stores are grossly understaffed especially at opening time.

Each location kinda has it’;s own touch which kinda makes you feel like it’s a your own local coffee shop. Staff not as friendly as before

Your new rewards program and the new app is SO terrible, that my husband and myself are boycotting. We normally would spend $200-400 per month at your locations. Good luck with not having our business.

While one does not typically read or post reviews, one coincidentally scanned stated that staff is not as friendly as before and I'll elaborate or qualify that to mean they aren't as capable or knowledgeable. Whether that translates to a passive hostility I'll not speculate upon however like other people of inadequate qualification one or more may react with dishonestly or irrational offensiveness (apparently). Mind you this is stated as employees on multiple occasions have not been able to state basic requisite knowledge about the business that employs them, example: What is or what is in the house blend (served every day and says "flagship blend" on the carryout bags that they are now attempting to sell in a manner similar to a Conti that preceded that company's placement in that area and also Starbucks).

A reason for avoiding these types of forum posts is how they can balloon on topics of actual (+/-) merit beyond the shortcomings or smaller scale service accomplishments of any individual business location. Here is simply stated that's a lot of commercial coffee products and associated waste. And that actuality is emphasized because at some point during the conversation in which a manger for two (of the smaller) locations who stated she held the title "general" and someone claiming the title "director of operations," not personally (at least) connoting broad or extensive reach in territory or actionability, one of them lied when confronted about the service matter regarding the three large non-hypoallergenic breed dogs who were also not service animals as one or both claimed/chided in were (that the sheddy non-vested dogs they most likely didn't even know were present were as the reaction they had to the similar sentiment to my own in that regard, to the unsurety as to why we were having a conversation at all at that point and during their meeting) after I provided that context for either of them to even have a context to make the false statement. The conversation may or may not have been a complete waste because the female of smaller frame than the other and who claimed to be a director of tasks implicitly not allocatable to a manager or general manager of one or two locations, respectively, stated that no one actually named or associated with the namesake founders was actually employed by or associated with that company with a surname preceding "Brothers" in the company name; And that sale (stated (when asked) wholly retaining the same name but no association and not acquired by another company and continuing in a dba manner under that name) had occurred just prior to another review of one of the other locations on that same street of somewhat opportunistic location, on top of no legitimate (n)or actual substantial formal city planning, and the earthy business assimilating with the, for long residents and their pitch or gimmick (not quite like green washing), 'buy local' signs, associations, and closed and/or localized hype. Even if the employees are moving around to work at different places there is still much obvious turnover and/or otherwise. This platform requires a star rating to submit input.

On that day which prompted this review (and which provides some context to a previous (personally unexpected) review statement, someone who was not a manager asked a novel employee of short duration, at least at the location, to approach me because I had not made a purchase at that location. That happened after an initial inquiry regarding the dogs who happened to be in an area that was not as crumbly filthy as a recent previous day.

Depending on the (declined) setting one may order, experience aversion or regret or discomfort and move to another location. A solution as happens at any restaurant or drink serving establishment is to make a decision after one has observed the setting.

Heine brother retaliates if employees are seeking better working conditions and a livable wage. The owner is worth a billion + dollars!!!!!!

Hello to everyone. I really hope that Heine Brothers' Corporate Office people react to this review and recall my attention at any chance.
I'm feeling really bad for writing this review, especially because about one year ago I wrote a wonderful one, exalting this place, but feel it's necessary. I've learned along my over 6 years in this beautiful country that customer service is the highest point of attention for every single business. And after having to work in Olive Garden for almost 4 years a got that as my motto for every work day. Well, it seems to happen that not every one is called to be a manager or a customer service representative thinks the same.
This store located at Hikes Point used to be my favorite place in town and got always my best reviews until yesterday night, Wednesday, February 19, and may the Lord forgive me if I am being wrongful. Two of my church member and I met over this Heine Brothers' cafe under my word of this being the best place to have a quiet and peaceful time to work together in a project for our church.
How disappointed we are!!!!! This lady, who called herself to be the manager of the store -tall, fat, white, dark hair, green eyes-, was extremely rude, unprofessional and nasty to my friends and me. She, who for starters wasn't even wearing her name tag, and refused to give her name, not only treated me with obvious racism and xenophobic but also wasn't willing to offer the correct service. When I asked for my coffee to be steamed again because we never were called when the coffees were made, and after waiting 10 minutes I went to the counter and found my coffees, obviously they were just warm. She told me she was very behind, that she called me twice, which it's not true at all, and I had to wait about 8-10 more minutes for my coffees. The most interest fact is they were 2 baristas including her, and the other one was not even that busy.
I claimed respectfully to her to be given a reason why I would have to wait that long and her answer was: "I am busy, sorry if you didn't hear me, you just have to wait or leave the place". When i heard this I felt so mistreated that I reply that she was being disrespectful and rude, and she asked in front of everybody in the store to leave the place or she would call the police, which she did, with no reason at all. After this, she kept telling things like: you are being so ugly, so annoying and things like this, to which I replied that she lacks of every single bite of customer service.
I came back to her for my money to get refunded to my card, and she told me that she didn't even know if it was possible to do so. How is possible a business manager won't know how to proceed which what is port of the daily duties????
This is the time that I haven't received my money back, hope that will happen throughout the day.
The police came and asked us to leave the place, and we had to, after being verbally outraged by a person who does not deserve to be in the position that she has been delegated to.
This country has opened its arms to people from everywhere and always has been proud of being the most cosmopolitan country in the world. This is the country that everyone in the whole world has a dream of. This is the country that offers freedom and pursuit of happiness. This is the country that I felt so proud of becoming a citizen just a few months ago.
So, in my mind, this kind of issues shouldn't occur because each one of us is contributing to make this country a better place to live.
People like this lady, should not reach so high on business levels with that overage of bad manners and racist feelings. That kind of people tear apart and put down to the deepest even the most honorable prestige that any business had built.
Hopefully my experience will not be the same for others in the future.
Thanks,

Jarumy Llopiz
