Asbury Thrift Store

Absolute favorite thrift store in the area!! I always find the most unique items. Great service, great prices, daily sales, highly recommend!!

I went for the first time and loved it! I was in a hurry, so I didn't get to check everything out yet, but I will DEFINITELY be going back!!

edit** After going back and having time to check things out, I am not a fan. Very overpriced for a thrift store. Clothes prices aren't too bad, but if you're getting any of the china piece they are priced at what you can buy them online. Furniture is overpriced, they limit the amount of books you can buy. Probably my least favorite thrift store I've been to in Huntsville.

This is a great little thrift store with friendly staff and good prices on some nice items, I’ve had a few good finds here and definitely enjoy stopping by to have a look, the only challenge is the parking lot but it’s usually not too bad if you go at the right time.

Ashbury Thrift Store is located at 295 Portal Lane in Madison, Alabama. Going South on Hughes St. turn left at the traffic light just past the Ace Hardware Store. Coming from the South on Hughes St. turn right at the traffic light just past the skate park, you'll see the Ace Hardware Store on the right just ahead of the traffic light. Follow Portal Lane and about a 1/4 mile you'll see the sign for Ashbury Thrift Store on the right side of the road.

Ashbury Community Thrift Store is a 501-(c)(3) nonprofit business that supports many needy organizations in the local community. The people that work there are volunteers and they are often looking for people to volunteer working in the store. The volunteers are friendly and polite and knowledgeable about the items and prices in the store.

This is my wife's favorite place to shop above all of the commercial businesses. Ashbury has a high turn over of their inventory so if you don't find what you looking for keep going back because they are always adding to the current inventory. Although my wife shops there frequently, I will occasionally accompany to carry her great finds and shop for my self.

Ashbury is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am - 6pm. Wednesday from 10am -5pm. And Saturday from 10am- 4pm. They are closed on Sundays.

Most items, especially clothing items are under $5. Shirts, dresses, shorts and pants are mostly only $2. They have a wide variety of Women's clothing which my wife loves and I like because it saves us a lot of money. Clothing items are in excellent condition, some are new. There is also a large amount of children's and infant clothing as well as toys. There is a smaller more limited amount of men's clothing but due to the shopping market the supply is adequate for the demand.

There is a large section for books, home wares, luggage and miscellaneous items. My wife loves to shop her because of the high inventory turn over and the various items that makes it a great shopping experience for everyone. They often have free French loaves of breads and pastries that is first come first served.

This is a great place to shop for clothing, home wares, ect. not only because it saves you money but they support many needy organization in the community.

This place blessed my life truly! I have never met a church thrift store so loving and giving ! Taylor, Anna, Madison and Mrs. Ann were all amazing ! I want to give a special s/o to Taylor though! Her thoughtfulness and extreme eagerness to help my family will never be forgotten ! I am truly laying here in my new home that’s furnished bc of Ashbury Thrift ! 10 outta 10 !

Very nice items. Everything from spoons, to beds, to books, to pictures, and everything in-between. Always Lowering prices and new things arriving daily, that's in Great condition!!! Church Affiliated also. I recommend that Everyone stop by @ least once a month.... and you will see why it should be a weekly treat!

I LOVE this store! They have an amazing variety of sections with almost brand new cloths accessories clothing and even large furniture. Great conditions and cheap to boot, 1$ for dvds 2$ for most clothings. And at this store they even have wedding and formal dresses! Definitely a staple shop for me!

Great store and prices! They have discount days that makes this place a real score on merchandise.

We were in Madison visiting family and stopped in for a quick look around. Well, we ended up spending over an hour in here. Everything was so organized and clean!! The staff was not only friendly but also very helpful!! We bought a huge mantle and the 2 young men that helped us load it were super friendly and had the BEST manners!!! We will definitely be back when we travel back to Madison!

Great place for adult clothing, and buying books. I have found a lot of great books for my kids in almost perfect condition. There is a dressing room to try on items, and they also have a public restroom. I have not been very impressed with the amount of clothing for kids, but overall one of my favorite thrift stores.

One of huntsville's best thrift stores usually well-stocked with all manner of clean clothing shoes and used furniture usually from clean homes and downsizing moving events. Often they have sales where different categories are reduced by 50%. The staff is busy and friendly usually things are priced if not they will price them at the check out counter or you can get one of the associates and they will price it for you.

The staff are always friendly and cooperative, they have regular discounts, and have great stock. I have been there about a hundred times, and usually they have great things. Great business.

Best thrift store I have ever been too or heard of in 34 years of life. I am weary to make this post as I do not want to expose this hidden treasure trove more than it already is. The thing is, it is located in one of the nicest areas in town (wealthiest) so their donations are a lot nicer (new,newer,expensive brands/items,better quality). They have different sales every day and will often have a line in the morning before they open just so they can have first dibs on the really good stuff that they replenish daily. You will be amazed at all pf the things they come up with and even better the pricing! You will not be disappointed and your wallet will thank you.

This place was amazing! We were out looking for thrift stores and Google Maps took us here. Our 1st time and we happened upon a store wide 50% off sale!!! We will be returning to this store for sure!!

I just love this place they always have a good bargain and always have a great sale. The only complaint I had today was that they rearranged the store and it's very hard to get around in now especially in the area where all the kitchen items in glassware is. Might want to think about rearranging again as that's difficult and a bit frustrating!

Love shopping this store. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, plenty of goodies to choose from that change from hour to hour day to day. 😀 I highly recommend you visit.
