Hibachi Express

Wife and I tried here tonight. They were busy but still provided fast service. Portions were huge for my steak and her chicken hibachi dinners. Neither of us could even eat half of our dinner. It was hot and my steak was cooked as ordered, medium. Will be back, put probably share a plate…lol!

I did a phone order for take out. The availability time for my order was excellent. The food was very very good. Nice portion size. The prices were very reasonable. I will order from them again.

The restaurant is very small if you want to eat in.

Easily the best fast casual Asian food around here. Not your average Chinese joint. Expanded menu. Try the Lunch special Chicken Hibachi! It's a homerun with that delicious yum yum sauce!

Even though they were super slammed because it was Christmas Day the food was hot and fresh and delicious. Never am disappointed by what we get here.

Placed a on line order it wasn't ready when I arrived but they were slammed. It only took 30 minuets longer on the busiest of nights to get my order and the fact it was piping hot made the wait worth it.

I have no idea why their score is so low. Every time I have eaten there the service has been good. The food is hot, tasty, and huge portions. I will continue to enjoy this restaurant.

I love this restaurant, One of my favorite places to go since I was a child. Food is always good and fresh. The staff is so kind and the food is always ready when they say it’ll be.

It has gotten a little more expensive since the pandemic. But 1 chicken hibachi is still more then enough food for 2 average people. Staff is always friendly and service is fast and efficient.

Initially when I walked in I was thrown off by a smell. I believe it's coming from the old buffet area just needs some plumbing work.
Aside from that, the food was cooked just right. Great lunch specials, with a big selection. They were fairly busy, but we hardly had to wait.
Don't pass them up!

Excellent little hibachi restaurant in Madison. I've been here several times for lunch and dinner, dine-in and take-out. I love the hibachi chicken and hibachi scallops (although you only get 3 scallops). The price is also good, around $12 for a combo meal.

I've been here a few times so far and have no regrets. The food is good and the portions are pretty large. Usually takes me a day or two to eat it all!

Hibachi Express is one of our defaults when we don't have time to make dinner and we're not in a mood for anything in particular. It's a no-brainer to get the hibachi chicken meal, which is really enough to serve two. The other Chinese dishes are also good, and they'll even make items that are no longer on the menu if you ask. The food is often ready in 10 minutes even when they're very busy on a Friday or Saturday night, so by the time we call, grab our keys and jacket, and drive over, the order is ready to go. Sometimes they forget a small item, though, such as spring rolls. So we do check the order before we leave. This is infrequent enough that it's not worth knocking the review down to 4 stars.

Always good food at good prices. Service was fast and the staff was courteous.

Food was great, portions are huge. Price is comparable to similar places in the area. The restaurant is very clean, but they are primarily take out. Staff is friendly and everything came out quickly. Will definitely be back.

Picture a better version of Panda Express, and that's exactly what Hibachi Express is! I always enjoy getting their lunch special. The portions are filling and the prices are great, especially for Madison!
