I was feeling tired on a drive from Hartford and I've always enjoyed Cumby's coffee, so I stopped here. Couldn't find *any* liquid creamer. I asked an employee (not sure what her name is) if they had any more creamer. Her answer: "nope", and kept walking. No attempt at any semblance of customer service. I ended up getting a frozen mocha just to stay awake behind the wheel, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. (Not the coffee, the coffee was great.)

Avoid this location at all cost. If you don’t, it probably wouldn’t be open when you got there anyways. They close whenever they feel like it and put a sign on the door THE DAY OF about the hours. The hours stated online are never correct, this is the most inconvenient company I’ve ever seen. There’s ZERO CONSISTENCY with hours of operation, who functions like that?!

If you’re running low on gas, this is a hit or miss! Frequently closed at odd hours - closed with no gas pumps working at 8pm on a Saturday night? This is the closest gas station to me and I’m not sure if it’s due to being understaffed or mismanaged or what but this particular location is an almost always a mess.

99% of the employees and the owner are very nice people.
The gas station is as expected.
Food is just like any other Cumberland farms.

The biggest issue is THAT clerk..
Everyone in Deep River know who I’m speaking of…it’s not a mystery.

There's some women who's names Lisa she is completely disrespectful, she treats fellow employees with so much disrespect. She always has an attitude. I feel bad for the people who work there. She seems to make the store very hostile. I've gone in there multiple times and she's always talking about someone negativity. The last time I was in the store she flipped off a customer and starting swearing. I work in retail and I would never treat a customer like that. I honestly just drive to the Cumberland in Essex.

This used to be a nice gas station but since they hired the new manager and fired all the regular employees it's gone down hill. The new employees look miserable as the manger yells at them AND the customers. The company won't pay a livable wage and expects way touch from their employees. They have 1 or 2 employees at most to run the whole store, make food, and run the register. It looks like a miserable place to work and it's a mad house trying to get in and out bc there's just not enough employees bc they literally can't pay people to work there. Can't blame them either, who would put up with all that for minimum wage???

The service here is awful. The floor is always disgusting and never have any of the coffee filled. The clerks are always disappearing just as fast as the coffee.

There have been a handful of incidences recently where I have gone to Cumberland farms and the website has them open till 12:00 and they are closed by 9:15 at night. It's kind of ridiculous.

Horrible place, the gas pumps almost never work or you have to go inside to pay. SOMETIMES there's someone nice at the register.
