Great, atmosphere and extreme professionalism! Like anywhere else some things or a little more somethings cost a little less. But the quality of service and reassurance of Zacks is comforting and satisfying every time I visit! Great example of responsible gunsmiths! Thank you for all that you do!

Drove by hundreds of times and always said I need to stop in. My son and I visited yesterday and it was a very nice experience. All the guys at Zacks at Round Lake are friendly, knowable, and very helpful. They are a please to deal with. I love the indoor range as well. They have whatever you need, and their suggestions are all based on experience.

I interacted with 2 very nice fellows at Zack’s today. I was there to sell an old shotgun and rifle that belonged to my stepfather. They gave me a fair price for the rifle and explained why the shotgun had no value (missing parts, pitting). They took both along with ammo for safe disposal. Very pleased.

Professional, courteous, and willing to genuinely understand concerns and make recommendations. Fair pricing, and extremely knowledgeable. I connected to some state mandated courses through them as well, they helped me through permitting processes, etc. Always great doing business with this team.

I have purchased a number of firearms from them and they have always been an absolute pleasure to work with. They are extremely friend; they knew me by name after my first visit and make a point to genuinely ask how I’m doing. They have a very helpful staff that would spend all day answering questions or letting you check out their selection if you wanted. Many other dealers in the area don’t seem to have 2 minutes to talk with you before running off to do something else.

I was looking to purchase a rifle, and I wasn’t sure of what I wanted. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to lay out several options in my price range, and answer any questions I had without pressuring a sale. I ended up buying a used Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308. The banter between the customers and staff was enjoyable. They definitely seem to have “regulars”, which is a good sign. I’ll be going back for ammo, and any future upgrades or accessories.

As a first time rifle buyer, I appreciated the time the guys spent over with all my questions. Really made me feel comfortable spending hard earned money on beautiful tool that will be passed down to the future generations of my family.

Despite being understaffed, they were still efficient at getting to all their customers in and out as fast as possible.

I went shooting with my family, most of whom were first timers, and I expected it to be a little rough. I couldn't be more wrong. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had a great time and definitely plan on making a return.

I didn’t personally go to this store but my best friend went here the other day ( I was helping him from az ) he went here to buy his first firearm . He said the staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He also let me know that none of workers treated him differently because of his tattoos . Will recommend my friends and family to take the drive out here if they are in the market for a new firearm.
