La Tiendita

This place rocks. They’re really trying to make the best grocery store and restaurant possible. The owner is a very nice man and works hard. The selection has gotten bigger over time. Especially when they moved to their new and more convenient location at the front of the same shopping center. I’m excited for them to have lunch food. Don’t look for a menu. A friendly woman cooks the food every day like it’s home cooking. Today I had pork chops. Sometimes there is stew or tortilla dishes.

Their salads and avocado dishes are delicious. I hope they keep adding more vegetarian options in the future.

When you go: don’t forget, there is Horchata on the weekends!

When you’re away from your country of origin, you appreciate the Spanish warm welcome.
On the other hand, they sell breakfasts, some really yummy “crepas” and wide variety of Hispanic products.

We absolutely LOVED our visit! I was on the hunt for passion fruit pulp and couldn’t find it anywhere else in town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The store is clean, produce is fresh, and the tacos were delicious. Even their vegetarian tacos are yummy. Give them a visit!

Great Hispanic grocery. Has fantastic produce and meats. On top of that they have hot food you can purchase. Also probably the cleanest grocery in Huntsville/madison

Love the coffee and the lunches. It's a very clean store. They have many Latinos style foods and candies. The owner speaks Spanish and English. A very friendly place.

An amazing Hispanic grocer. Guatamalan lunch is served during the week and a taco truck outside! They also have a butcher shop inside as well. The staff is bilingual.

This place has tons of great Hispanic foods and goods. They have perishable and nonperishable goods, as well as baked goods and fresh meat.

They also have a great selection of snack foods and snack drinks that will be unique to most, and tasty for all. Will certainly shop again.

I have been waiting for a Mexican store to open up on this side of Madison! La Tiendita is very clean and the prices are on par. The produce is FRESH and well organized. Luis, the owner is polite and very welcoming! He was well stocked up on on the dried chiles I needed and also has a pan dulce stand. BONUS- He also opened a taco truck in the parking lot! Thank you, Luis for opening up your store in Madison.
