Gordon Food Service Store

I go there mainly to buy their spices. They have an excellent selection and the price is great too. My only complaint, I always spend more money than I intended to spend because I usually find other great bargains.

I was cooking for big group for Thanksgiving. They had everything I needed in commercial sizes with reasonable prices. Employees were super.

Best meat prices anywhere! Bought a 4.5 pound beef tenderloin (used to make filet mignon)...$8.99/pound!!!! That is LESS THAN HALF the price anywhere else!

And it's not just a lucky break or one time only good deal. This is the third time in the last two years that I have been able to get that price for that cut of beef!

If you are feeding a lot of people, or looking for a place that has large sized cans of foods, THIS is the place to come. Not only do they have food, but they have cups, utensils, plates and other things that you will need for your picnic or large social gathering. And they have fresh vegetables too! Cheeses, meats, fruits.......everything on one place. And at reasonable prices.

Clean, well-stocked, and definitely a place to add to your list of places to get groceries!

Went there for the first time. Very clean store well stopped. Lots of both items along with single items. About some delicious walnuts, I will be going back. Very competitive prices. This would be a good place to do your shopping if you have kiddos at home and need items you can heat up quickly such as mac and cheese.

I love this place good prices for most items and if you have to bulk items then this is your one stop shop for lots of great stuff and thier Gordon name products are either as good as if not in some ways better than the name brand stuff. Also if you like bacon it's great quality in a 3 pound package and the Angus beef hot dogs are amazing quality Also!!!!

I feel like this is a hidden gem in Knoxville because so many people prefer to go to the big box bulk stores. I've hosted several parties of varying sizes and I always come here for my food, drinks, and disposables. The prices always seem great and the quality is restaurant quality since they supply chain restaurants. Extra bonus is not needing a membership to shop!

Are you a shopper? Compare. If you know your price comparisons, you can save money here even if you are not a business. Watch for the case prices listed on the shelf label if you are buying more than one or if you have room in your cupboard to stock up.

Nice to have a place with bulk spices and syrup to make sodas

I really like GFS. They have some items that I haven't found anywhere else or are difficult to find. Some of their prices are outstanding, others are good, and some are a bit higher than what I may typically pay elsewhere. The store is geared more toward large orders and commercial customers, but there are plenty of great items in smaller packages for customers like me who typically have smaller orders and don't buy in large quantities.

They have lots of great products and and even more that can be ordered online, we accidentally messed up our online order one time. When we went in to pickup our order the cashier was very helpful and patient, He made sure we got everything we ordered. Thank you
