Walmart Supercenter

Our first visit to this location was positive. The shelves were stocked, the floors were clean, carts were available and checking out was easy.

Ian didn't give me a sticker :(

But otherwise, very clean, very comfortable atmosphere, and everything was stocked and as organized as it can be. Good Walmart.

We also strive to be an Ian, he made our day/night.

I’ve been shopping at this Walmart for going on 6 years, and this past Friday I had probably one of the best interactions with a store employee to date. I was coming through self checkout with my 2 younger children and they weren’t terribly rowdy but the teenager who was working that area could tell I was slightly irked as I had told them a few times to” just sit tight so we can get outta here.”
The employee, I believe his name was Ian, probably around 17, came up and made some joke about how I’m in aisle crazy town or something(I don’t remember exactly) but I responded with I think I brought it with me. He without hesitation went to my kiddos and told them that he and I made a deal. He’s got stickers and so long as when we come into Walmart they are.good for me, don’t fight, argue, disobey me, each time they see him he will give them a sticker. My kids agreed they shook on it and were so well behaved the rest of me checking out.
I realize this isn’t a big deal to many people, but as someone who has 5 kids, and at times dreads checking out this was such a huge help!

Kudos to Gary & his team in the auto care center. They saved the day for us by plugging a tire late in the day on a Saturday. We were traveling on I 70 when our tire pressure light came on. We would have been stranded for the night without their help. Had us in and out in about 40 minutes. Big thanks guys!

I'm not a fan of these stores but the Highland store is nice compared to some of my other experiences I've had. Not a single person walking around in their pajamas and it was not overcrowded.

Highlands is great! Well stocked and friendliest customer service.

Good and clean store. There aren't as many employees all over doing grocery pick up and stocking like some stores. They still have actual check out lanes where employees scan your items for you. They have a better selection and better stocked shelves than many walmarts I've visited.

Love the great value brand. The Walmart app is very useful. I shop Walmart a lot!

This store always has what I need in stock, but today I wanted to give a special shout out to Andrew in the electronics department. I bought a phone online via pick up order and when I got home to activate it, it wouldn't work. I called to see what was wrong bc it was a brand new phone and they said I had to bring it back to the store to get it scanned in at the register. So I brought it back in and the lady at the front didn't even try to issue a refund and sent me to the back. I ended up going to the back to electronics to see if they could refund it so I could buy it again. Thank God Andrew was there and was very attentive. He tried everything and it ended up working out. He saved me from leaving a bad review about his coworker. Good customer service from Andrew, he deserves a promotion for all he did and understanding my frustration.

Didn’t get their names but the dairy guys were awesome. The gallons were in the back because of renovations and they were very quick and polite to get my gallons of milk. Will definitely recommend the Highland Walmart because of their polite and professional dairy staff.

Gotta love wally world in Hoghlamd store is always clean, shelves don't look like there was a run on the store ( plenty of merchandise, unlike the stores in granite, collinsville, edwardsville, bigger city stores generally get hit hard with shoppers or shop lifting one because there rarely ha e what cja need abd get angry when they cam not fi d their items or when the are unable to return things reciently bought. They are getting harder and hardier to deal with anytime you need to return something the closer you get to st louis mo or a biger city the more rude the employees become at the service desk. They act like you stole the stuff even when u have the reciept, I ha e been told well you have returned so much pretty soon theyvwill nkt take anything back from you. I said the day they tell me that is the last time I will set a foot in any walmart again.

All of the grocery pick up people are incredible. This morning Jacob Z was no exception. He was so energetic and respectful. Thank for making this a great experience!

I have to give a big shout out to Tony and his employees in the bakery dept. The cupcakes that you made for my daughter's birthday were a huge hit! I was so surprised when you went above and beyond and decorated them with with rainbow icing, especially when I know that had to take extra time, and you all were already booked up. You made her day all the more special. Thank you so much!!

Nice store with even a few atypical items in stock (especially in the tool area and automotive departments). Usually crowded at peak hours. In the times I've interacted with employees they are exceptionally helpful. The store did a nice job with non-contact order pickups and prefer to use it for groceries. Recent rearrangement of grocery area doesn't especially make sense but new units with refrigerated products look cleaner than the older open cases.

The most kind worker (high school age) brought my groceries out and packed them in my car with the utmost respect for my items as if they were hers. Then she went in and brought out a treat for my doggo.
