Publix Super Market at Fifth & Alton

Great Publix location. Nothing bad to say about this place, cashiers were helpful and variety of selections are available, even from different countries. Spacious place, fresh food chill atmosphere etc. Overall, it's a great place to visit.

This review has been viewed over 2129 times. Clean and organized establishment; corporate standards really seem to be upheld with integrity here. I noticed many employees working productively and ready to help any customers in need of assistance. Checkout seems to move at a higher than normal rate than the usual trip to your local grocery store. I did notice a few elevators are currently out of service and waiting for maintenance; this did not change my rating because the establishment is following safety protocol and communicating with proper signage. Don't forget to get your parking validated! When it comes to associates, customers, representatives, and vendors, this is Publix, and every corporation must uphold Corporate America standards in all facilities and business establishments. 🇺🇸

I love this grocery store. I love their prices. I wish they would expand to Texas! Everything is good. Can get fresh sandwiches made & enough to share for two. Fresh sushi made there everyday. A must go to!

Great store. Staff are not friendly but it's in the beach. Bought stuff for a customer but the forgot to bag my water in the same bag and l accidentally left it behind after l told them bag all my items in one paper bag when they still bought the groceries in two separate plastic bags. So make sure the bagger is not distracted like mine was.

Best pub subs in SOBE. Bismarck has phenomenal customer service skills. He kept thanking everyone in line for their patience while waiting, extremely attentive, generous portion sizes, and very detail oriented. He gives each customer his undivided attention while making their sub.

This Publix SuperMarket for some reason has a different vibe from all the other Publix locations.
Maybe because it’s in the heart of Miami South Beach, this place it’s trendy, funky and more healthy vibe and products, after all it is a super market for South Beach life style. You will find lots of natural, organic, keto, sugar free, gluten free, dairy free, and others something free products:) As every Brazilian person, I love frozen Açaí Bowl also and you will find one of the best açaí brand available in United States in this Publix location.
One off the coolest thing about this location is that your fluffy friends are welcome inside, so don’t be surprised if you come across a 50 pounds puppy carrying her own orange traffic cone ⚠🐶❤🤣😍

Publix came through!! I needed catering for the 18th Birthday Yacht party & they came thru real big!!! I called around for local private catering for food & desserts (b4 traveling/party wkend) everyone was super expensive and wasn't giving variety!! But, Publix...I ordered assorted fruit trays, pasta salad, meat/cheese/fruit trays, tray of dips w/variety crackers, chocolate covered strawberries, let's not forget that cake...Publix Cake was the rave

Very nice store. Giant is the right term. It's one of the biggest publix's I have ever seen. The manager pam was extremely helpful, well stocked, clean, and organized . Definitely a jewel in the crown that publix covets.

I have travelled to Miami from England and have gone to the Publix on 5th and Alton twice, both time for hot food. I was served both times by Rika who was so friendly and happy! 5 stars for Rika 😁

I came in town and decided to take my children to the beach. So I went in Publix to get drinks, and snacks for my children. They decided they wanted to a platter that should be ordered in advance. Ashley in the deli, should exceptional customer service and made the platter for my children. There’s no way that I could allow that to go unnoticed. Thanks again Ashley, I greatly appreciate your kind heart!!! Might I add the subs we’re fresh and delicious 😋

This is always a very busy Publix location on South Beach. The good part is that the parking garage allows 2 hours of free parking.

Great supermarket with lot’s of stuff. You can nearly find everything you’re looking for.

Went for a bowl of soup, it was delicious, clean store, great selection of Kosher products.

Brenda went above and beyond to give me exceptional customer service, yesterday. I asked an employee named Brenda for help when I couldn’t find an item I needed for a recipe. We all know how that feels when you’re missing just one item. What a bummer! I had given up my search and continued shopping. Brenda found the item and went looking for me in the store! I was so happy I didn’t have to go to another store to find that item! I gave her a big hug and thanked her. It’s because of Publix employees like her that keeps me going to the same location on Fifth & Alton on Miami Beach, FL. Thank you!
