I always order from APLS. They are the most professional and courteous business in Hampton Township. When they say they will be there they are. I had 9 tons of gravel delivered today - Bill was the Driver and he was totally knowledgeable in what I need to do to fix my driveway plus he spent extra time tail gating all the gravel for me so i would have much less work to do. These guys are simply the Best. I ordered soil, compost and mulch from the company for vegetable beds. Their prices are listed online which is convenient, but it is easier to call to order for specific requests. Delivery charges depends on your location, and on the number of times it may take to deliver an order if you want items separated. The deliveries were next day and on time. The drivers did their careful best to place the heaps where needed. In my opinion, the quality of their soil and compost is top notch - the mix basically smells like a farm (in a very good way). There are basically no impurities found in them. The mulch itself is well broken and dark as chocolate. I highly recommend this company.

APLS, Allison Park landscape supply is the place to go in the North hills of Pittsburgh for mulch, stone, pavers, or any other landscaping need. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. They will deliver tons of material out to your home or site and the truck drivers are great with kids too :-)

We have had our mulch delivered because we need a lot but we also go here to pick up 5 gallon buckets of different types of stone on occasion. You can usually grab three or four 5 gallon buckets full of stone for $10 or less. It is by far the cheapest option. It's even fun if you have kids to take along with you and have them help you shovel. You often get to see front loaders and other large pieces of machinery in action.

Very friendly and eager workers. Genuine and good listening skills. Not pushy and helpful in explaining the retaining wall block products/considerations.

I have purchased both mulch and topsoil from these folks. Products were great, delivery driver was friendly. I had a rather awkward place i wanted the topsoil dropped...the driver had to work to get truck in right position, but he could not have been more on target than if he unloaded it by hand. Also the screened topsoil was terrific. Kodos to APLS.
