Sears Hometown Store

My husband and I needed to go to Dowagiac to the Sears Hometown Store to find a hand blower to help handle the leaves and blades for our mower. Since we no longer have a local Sears store, we brought our business to Dowagiac. We have been happy with the relaxed atmosphere and the knowledgeable owner/operator aside from the fact that they have everything we need as far as tools and parts. They also carry appliances if we ever need them. It's a little bit of a drive, but it's a pleasant one and we don't have to go all the way to Kalamazoo or South Bend.

Great service. Sad to see the store closing after all these years. Last day open will be may 10, 2019. They always have good sales. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are willing to find the answer to a question if they aren't as familiar with a product.

Very lucky to have this store in our town. If they don't have what you need in stock, they will order it for you. I can't say enough good things things about the customer service! They are really concerned about getting you the product and service you need.
