I absolutely love The Cotton Boll! ❤ The owner always has such beautiful things. I never leave empty-handed! It's obvious she cares about her customers in her attention to detail when wrapping a gift or carrying the newest thing. The atmosphere is clean and smells so good with her candle selection! If you're lucky enough to shop when the owners are there, you'll get the full Laurel experience! Zane and Kelly love to help their customers and welcome all who come in the door as family. While Kelly can help you find what you're looking for, Zane will keep you in stitches with a story or two. I spent a happy half hour browsing this lovely shop. The variety was impressive and it was beautifully displayed.

This is my favorite store in Laurel!!! Wished I lived close so I could shop here often. Beautiful store with many beautiful items that ate reasonably priced. The owners, Kelly and Zayne, are the friendliest and most down to earth people. Kelly even wrote down everything I wanted and is going to ship it to me so I don't have to worry about anything breaking on the plane. Hope this store is here for many years to come. It's a great asset to the Laurel community.

The good folks who own The Cotton Boll were our first impression of Laurel. It was our first stop and they greeted us warmly and welcomed us to the store and the town. They have many unique and charming items and the store is beautiful. A lovely shop run by lovely people in a lovely little town.

I don’t know if I’m just not used to southern hospitality but wow these ladies were soooo kind! I ended up leaving with a couple sample packs of coffee but could have bought so much more. Definitely a sweet shop you can’t miss while visiting Laurel.

Such a beautiful store filled with fabulous gifts!!! The owners were so kind and helpful. All of rhe pajamas were sooooooo soft and the candle line they carry is to die for glorious!!!!!!! We will definitely return. Laurel is soooooo cute! LOVE!

Amazing customer service! Called in from out of town about a clithing item in the shop. Kelly the owner was so accommodating and shipped the item out that day. We chit chatted a bit about Laurel and the amazing and unique items in the shop. I received my item and am blown away by it! I will definitely be back to shop...

We traveled to Laurel as my husband is. Big fan of the HGTV show. HomeTown. ..we visited the shoppes in the town and loved shopping at the Cotton Boll. The owner was so friendly and had many stories about the town and the people. I loved many of the items that were carried in the store that I hope I can order a few items that I saw in the store but was not able to pick up as the store was closed on Friday. Due to Covid 19..Hope to talk with you soon

We stopped in The Cotton Boll to look around. We spoke to the owner for quite a while, & he (& his wife, who was busy with customers) could not have been any more kind or helpful. The store is beautiful as well, with great products & prices.

Super cute store with so many nice items to purchase for yourself or as gifts. High quality items at great prices. The store is very inviting and we met the owner who is very personable and friendly.

Stopped by in the afternoon of 5/13/24. They weren't open. Please amend your hours. The door even says your open on Mondays.

Wanted to check out a t-shirt, so I wanted to go into the store. I had my dog, not a service dog, so I asked if he could come in. I’m guessing one of the owners told me, “I would rather not” with so much disdain and malice, I felt so uncomfortable that I will not shop here again. I felt so I unwelcomed and disrespected. I understand that the owners may not want a dog in the store, it was the manner and what he said that solidified that I will not shop at the store again, which is a shame. If the owner said, “no sorry about that. Come see us another time,” It would have been welcoming, understanding, and encouraging me to come back to check out the t-shirts I was looking at. I really try to shop small and support local businesses, but I will not be disrespected and then pay the people who did it.

I went in the store once on an off day from work and the owner treated me like I was going to steal. I guess she thought everyone in tshirts and blue jeans were too poor for her store. Oh well, I will go spend my money at the Mercantile. 🤷‍♀ #ShopLocal #JustNotHere
