Publix Super Market at Planters Station

Suffolk finally has a superior grocery store on Godwin Blvd. The desserts in the bakery look delicious. It’s nice they have some smaller portions for 2 people.

They offer fresh made subs at the deli. The produce looks great. There is a nice seafood section.

Of course the store is new and immaculate and the employees are friendly.

When driving in from the interstate be sure to turn at the light before kings fork road for easy access.

The Planters Station store is brand new, clean, and, like all Publix stores, offers a great merchandise selection. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's our favorite grocery shopping experience.

Very pleased with this establishment here. I was there for the grand opening and I must say what a beautiful store, and staff were on point. Prices are pricey though for some that like to budget shop such as myself lol. They do have bogos and good quality meats. I just order a custom made cake but won’t be able to review that until later. Buffalo Chicken Tender Sub for the win. I just wish their oven was working on the first day so I could had my sandwich toasted. All good, it didn’t take away from the 5 stars.

I waited to write my review until the store had been open a while. Publix is EXCELLENT. It's always clean, and the customer service is top tier. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but I don't mind because the service I get here can't be matched at any other grocery store. I've ordered deli platters and they are fresh, good and always ready on time. I'm so glad Publix came to Suffolk.

A great place for your grocery needs. The store offers a wide selection of brand names and items throughout its store. The thing to look out for is its deli areas that make made-to-order submarine sandwiches as well fried chicken and associated items. They also have a freshly made sushi station in their seafood area as well as grab-and-go sections and even a cafe area. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Great place to shop. I've been here several times and never had a problem. We picked up an 8 piece chicken and salad for lunch. The chicken wasn't as listed on the package, so we took it back. They refunded us, but we would have settled for the proper chicken. Every employee we've ever encountered provided great customer service.

Great selection in a pristine shopping environment. A wide array of choices that run from bargain store brands to very high-end (expensive) brands. I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods throughout. The deli and prepared foods are very good and are generally a very good value.

Try their chicken tender sub. It's delicious.

A welcome addition to the area. The store is gorgeous. The layout makes sense. The products are great quality. And of course, the staff were stellar! I will definitely be returning and soon!

Food aside, the employees here alone are 5 stars. Everyone is always friendly, from the bakery, deli, sushi, meat dept, cashiers and pharmacy. We custom ordered a cake which was delicious and ready as scheduled, the deli is always making conversation and willing to give samples, the subs are great especially the chicken tender ones where they cut up hot fresh tenders. The meat dept readily ordered beef tongue when my husband asked if they had any and the sushi guy made me a sushi roll without the spicy mayo after chatting with him about how the shrimp tempure roll has gotten too spicy for me and I can't handle spicy well. Not to mention, I finally had an interaction with the pharmacy and they DON'T act like they don't want to be there like every other CVS or Walgreens pharmacy technician. Super nice! Everyone!
The food is good also! Everything in the bakery, YUM! The deli and Boar's Head, the fresh food, fresh sushi, meat, all of it.

Super clean and organized. All the products get fronted and turned, which is an OCDers dream come true.
Pricing is higher than elsewhere, not going to even pretend it's not. But, most of the quality is there where others stores lack, like produce.
Staff is always friendly, and they have them working all over the store. There's no empty spots.

First time visiting Publix , intending to only order 2 of their popular subs! Layout of the store is nice and the deli worker who made our subs was very detailed, congenial, and respectful. I'm planning to revisit again and purchase additional items..

Love it here! Its always clean & organized. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The 40min drive is worth it to get some of my S.Fl goodies!

Bought a nice taboule salad, here, added some cheese pieces, and ripe avocado, and had a great meal. I also bought some nice 🍎's and a 🍋. 😋

The store is clean and the staff are friendly. They carry a variety of upscale products. The bakery area is full of fresh items, and one of my favorites they make are yoyo cookies. Their fried chicken is good, and they make fresh subs while you wait.

So happy Publix finally made it to the area. Used to go in FL all the time. They have a great selection and friendly staff, snd the layout makes sense. And, the bakery goods and subs are amazing!

That sheet cake was HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And delicious! It was so professionally made and decorated as if it came from an actual private bakery! Everyone at my mother’s birthday party was saying they never seen a cake that big and mind you my mother turned 75 !!!! I am just soo thankful! That cake showed up and showed out you hear me! I’m just so appreciative of their service they provided and I’m so glad I choose them ! If anyone needs a cake I definitely recommend them because they will not disappoint!

We used Publix Bakery for our wedding cake in 2/10/24. The process was very easy! Their cake tasting was top tier! We were not serving cake. We just wanted a plain white cake to cut for pictures. Thank you so much!

Love the Pharmacy!!! What a GREAT experience it has been to actually have true customer service! After spending the last few years dealing with CVS & Walgreens & their erratic hours, rude staff who NEVER answer the phone & the inability to get my meds, I eagerly awaited the opening of Publix pharmacy. And I have not been disappointed! The staff was super helpful in dealing with some insurance issues & they are so kind. And they answer the phones! What a concept, right? So happy they are open!

Brand new Publix here in South Suffolk and we are happy to have it.
● Nice wide spaces in the parking lot
● Drive-thru pharmacy on left side of building with clear traffic patterns
● Inside is clean and staff is super helpful and nice

So excited to have this store in our community. Great layout, very bright and clean. Friendly staff. Lots of great options and easy parking. Only gripe is why are the carry baskets at self checkout and not in the entrance.. weird and kind of annoying but the store overall is really nice.
