Awesome place with so many items grown on-site, too many to list- almost every fruit that is reasonable to grow in central NH. Awesome hard cider selection! Went to an event- unfortunately there were only 2 food trucks and way more people than they had brought food for- both trucks completely ran out of food- I waited 45 minutes in line and could only order one thing. I’m sure the next event will be better planned- food trucks don’t have unlimited storage and predicting demand is hard for remote events like this. Would definitely go back. Beautiful and fun for the family.

Update: after visiting last fall we tried it for strawberries and it's just as awesome. But this place is no secret so plan for it to be busy.

Beautiful farm and friendly staff. The hard cider was a fun adult treat and the donuts were to die for. 😋

If you are looking to pick your own fruit in a beautiful setting, then look no further. Butternut has it all and more. The owners are the nicest people and will even stop by my house to kindly remind me that it's past time to have pruned my own peach trees. Prices are great for the best tasting, freshest fruit around. The farm is well managed and the cider house is definitely worth a visit while you're there. I recommend trying some of everything.

Went this Saturday and it was great! Easy parking, not too crowded, tons of ripe blueberries. You can bring your own container and just get a tare weight if you want. I filled a large Tupperware and it was only about $7. Didn’t get to explore the cider house but it looked really cute!

We had a great experience picking up blueberries and raspberries, missed strawberry and cherries by 2-3 weeks but looking forward to apple pickings.
Staff is very helpful and rates are as good as the market.
do try the Donets, they're delicious.

Beautiful farm! Plentiful and a high-quality picking conditions. Good prices. There are also some animals to see and freshly made cider donuts for the kiddos. A real gem!

This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back often! My young son loved picking all the various fruits, seeing the animals, and eating cider donuts. We adults also loved all of the above, but additionally enjoyed a flight of the hard ciders they had to try. The shop had their own (kid friendly) cider, honey, maple syrup, a variety of whoopie pies and other tasty treats, jellies, salsas, and more. The farm was easy to get to, and had plenty of parking. If you're looking for a fun filled day, this is the place!

We make a yearly trip in the fall to pick apples and peaches- the fruit here is absolutely unmatched. They also have a variety of farm animals that are certainly people friendly. There are peacock feathers available for small children or for purchase in the gift shop.

If you're 21+ you must try the flights of hard ciders they offer. You can order your flight and made-to-order apple cider donuts and enjoy the fall air at a picnic table on the farm.

My kids were raised on family trips to Butternut Farms. So, I'm biased when I give the experience praise. It's the quintessential outside excursion on a crisp October day, but they're also open for all the other fruit picking seasons too. You've got your apples, your peaches, your pumpkins, your fresh, hot apple cider donuts, and flights of fresh ciders that are all delicious. My only complaint is how overcrowded the place can get midday on a popular weekend. But c'est la vie.

What a cool place! Huge U-pick farm with random plots of animals to check out, and of course hard cider! They serve literally all morning...which if you have to drag kids out anywhere early, I can definitely imagine needing some liquid encouragement to get through the day.

They have 5 ciders on tap .. available to go as growlers too. 7$ gets you a flight of 5, and they are pretty solid! Definitely recommend the tequila barrel aged one.

Family-friendly place, i love strawberry picking, but my son didn't care much. Her preferred petting goats the most, and he's at the goats for an hour.

This is the place! We come here every year to pick mainly strawberries (3-4 kinds), they are delicious. Also raspberries, apples, cherries... Great place to bring your kids to spend couple of hours - besides fruits they have goats, chickens and peacocks. Donuts, hard cider is also available at their store.

Great experience. God those donuts were delicious. That Fall Fuego cider was a risk, and I could barely swallow it. Definitely fun to try though. Thank y'all for the experience!

Worth the trip for the selection of apples they have and the beautiful walk around the farm. Be sure to grab some cider donuts and maybe a whoopie pie or two! If you're old enough, their hard cider is amazing too! Try the flight, you won't be disappointed!!

This is a lovely well-cared for family-owned farm that has strawberries, peaches and a large variety of apples. It is clean, well-groomed, laid out beautifully and all the staff were super-friendly and knowledgeable.

Great place to pick fruit. They have raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, but also cherries and peaches as well for picking! I went July 10th and amazingly caught the tail end of strawberries, the beginning of blueberries, raspberries and Rainer cherries as well as sour cherries. They also have cider and other foods. Picked fruit is well priced. Great place to spend an hour or two for adults and for children.

Place is lovely! The apples are fresh and delicious! Not too expensive either! I think it's about 1.75 a pound and for these apples it's certainly worth it! I need to come here more, their donuts are also fantastic and fresh, nice and warm apple cider donuts
