Love anvil cards! Former Houston resident, I now live out of state. I ordered a few items they arrived in great condition in a timely manner. Definitely ordering again.

Cute shop with some great cards and other gifts. Has the local Houston and Texas vibe without being touristy. Always great service!

JC always does a great job with custom card orders! They have a great selection of cards if you need to grab on the go. Their enamel pins are top notch, too. Definitely worth a stop if your looking for something a little more personal than what you find at CVS or Walgreens.

Wonderful staff, beautiful witty cards. Several great options, some with hilarious Houston references. All seemed to be priced 5 bucks and under. 10/10 will return for more clever gifts.

I live in the northern part of the state, so I decided to order cards by mail. My order was correct, and I received the cards in just a couple of days. Great quality and craftsmanship. Glad to support local/regional businesses.

Unique shop with cool, original takes on the classic greeting/ birthday card. This is my go to place for buying cards that I want to be more personable for family and friends. You won't find cards like these anywhere else and the people you gift them too will wonder where you got it! The owner/ manager is welcoming and always willing to help. I moved to San Antonio from Houston last year and I still order all my cards through Anvil's online shop. Prompt shipping and delivery. There is no expectation on my end for anything but the cards I ordered, however, I almost always receive a hand-written thank you and/ or cool stickers to go along with my order. Just one more example of how Anvil cards continues to be a local, small batch store with a BIG impact! Good vibes all around.

I visit Anvil Cards whenever I need a card that's extra special or unique and I can always find something that's perfect for the occasion. They have high quality cards, great customer service, and affordable prices. More than once I've given someone the same mass-produced birthday card that they have received from someone else, that doesn't happen when I get them a card made here! The fun Houston and Texas-themed birthday cards are a hit when I give them. You can feel the difference in the quality of these cards and even the envelopes. The sympathy/support cards have just the right feel without being over-the-top. The bluebonnet card line is my favorite.

Absolutely blown away by both the creativity and details of JC’s work! The cards are absolutely immaculate, I’m excited to send my costume “thank you” cards out!!!

Houston’s gem. The store carries a lot of original design cards, a lot of them Houston-themed. I also ordered custom cards as a going away gift for my coworkers. JC worked his magic and turned my rough idea into fabulous prints. 100% recommend Anvil Cards for souvenirs, cards, and custom design prints for the special ones in your life!

LOVE the cards from Anvil! I love how cute and creative they are. I'm big on handwriting notes, cards, and snail mail, and I can't wait to share some Texas spirit with my out-of-state friends. I discovered a Houston treasure today called Anvil Cards! They have a huge selection of THE most unique made-on-site cards! Their selection is huge, ranging from all things Houston (!) to politics and love. They have a very unique selection of gifts to go with the cards, but really the cards are so cool that they’re a gift in themselves! Another bonus is that the prices are affordable and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

Clever stickers, cards, shirts and tons of other gift type items that you are not going to find elsewhere. Bonus: they personally delivered cards to me at the start of quarantine!!! Awesome cards! I have been going here for a couple years now. Love this store. Not only do they have the best cards in H-Town, they also have stickers, clothing, jewelry and lots more! Whenever I need a card I come here (and I usually end up finding something else too!).
