Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store

The Newcastle/Tri-City Braum's has always offered great food & ice cream. This location has a history of prolonged service & long waits. However, tonight, my family decided we wanted Braum's for dinner. I went to Braum's expecting another long wait in the drive-thru. They were busy, but they were not slow! I had a large order with four meals, special requests like ketchup only etc., four shakes, one ice cream cone, and two hot fudge Sundays. To my surprise, the drive-thru was moving very quickly & efficiently. When I reached the pick-up window, I expected to experience at least a five-minute wait. I was wrong. All of my items were ready as soon as I pulled up. Every burger was as ordered. The shakes, ice cream & Sundays were all correct also!!! Great Job, Newcastle Braum's Team!!!

I don't eat here often, but when I do it's good. I mostly purchase their dairy products. The milk is the best, I would also rate their dips as the best I've ever purchased. And during the holidays, their egg nog is 👌!

Food and service were excellent!!
Today I bought 6 $20. Gift cards to go in "thank you" cards for the people helping us unload our u- haul truck!! With summer coming on, we thought they would be an excellent way to say "Thanks, for the help!"

I needed some good food quickly on the way home from a funeral. Better than typical fast food.

I went there to get burgers for dinner for the family. They make the best burgers in town.

I love braums. I eat here quite often, and very rarely do I have any issues. One time I got left waiting in the drive thru overflow spot in a shake, but things happen. 9 times out of ten they meet or exceed my expectations.

I'm Non Celiac Gluten Intolerant and have eaten here a couple of times since my diagnosis. I usually order the Double Quarter Pound Cheeseburger combo #2. I order it minus the bun, and get it in a little carton with cutlery. I also like that I can substitute the fries (Which are not gluten free) with either greek yogurt or cottage cheese (I always go for the cottage cheese!). I have yet to have a gluten reaction here, so I definitely feel safe eating at this location (Not that other locations are bad, this is just the one my wife and I stop at while out on errands).

My only complaint is that ordering it without the bun means I don't get the condiments like mayo, ketchup, or mustard (Possibly because it's a cross contamination risk). I wish they had condiment packets that they could include. I'll have to find my own condiment packets and keep them handy, as Braum's isn't the only restaurant I've had this issue with.

The employees were exceptional! What a great crew! Food was excellent also. Heart of Texas with two bus loads and these service professionals handled all of us in an organized, fast, and very pleasant manner, along with serving all the patrons coming and going. Great job!

Great value for delicious food. The cashier allowed me to purchase grocery items at food counter as well. This particular Braum’s appears to be quicker than other I have visited.

The employees were nice and the food was better than I expected. Of course the malts are the best!

When we visit family in Oklahoma, braums is a go-to multiple times during our stay. We miss it!

Couldn't be more happy with friendly people and quality of food. The Manager kept everything moving pretty quick despite being extremely busy both times we visited. Also took home 2 cartons of ice cream from Market and both were amazing. Thank you Newcastle staff. Job well done.

The freshest food and dairy, at a ridiculously great price!

I've been visiting Braum's since I was a child in the 70's. I've always made a place in my budget for them. I like that they change some flavors throughout the year. I've never had a bad flavor. And my friends agree, the best milk anywhere! I love the chocolate milkshakes, 3 times a week, large. And if it happens to be breakfast time, I have them add a banana. Gotta stay healthy.

This Braum's location has given me good food every time I have come here. I have never received food that has been "under the heat lamp" for hours. The employees are very friendly. If they are out of things, they apologetically let me know as soon as possible. The only thing I would recommend is that they update to newer or upgrade their drive thru signage and electronics.
