Mariano's

Have been coming here for many years, and I must say Mariano’s is really convenient to have nearby. They have practically all of my grocery needs. When you walk in, you see a nice variety of fruits and vegetables displayed. Also, the self-checkout is simple and fast.

Shelves are always stocked with a good selection. Their produce section is outstanding. I love the digital coupons and rewards program.

Good selection of what u are looking for in a good grocerystore... Prices are reasonable for the above average quality. We shop here quite often... Do try their 🍕 pizza...the best

My husband Gary and I and our adorable baby fefe 😺😺😺💙💙💖🐾🐾🐾🐈‍⬛and my dad all love Vernon hills Mariano’s because we live like 3 mins from Mariano’s and aldis and because The food is always fresh and the prices are reasonable. And the employees are always so friendly nice and helpful and very courteous. 😺😺😺💙💙💖🐾🐾🐾🐈‍⬛

In Mariano’s I really like a flowers department ,specifically in this location.
Flowers always fresh. Glamours arrangement for the holidays and with your special order . People who work with flowers put a sole , love ,own creation in a bouquets. Competitive price .
Cheese, fruits and vegetables sections are my favorite in the store.
Good store , satisfied service.
I missed a pianist there .

We love this location! They always have more of a selection than the gurnee location. The only item i haven't seen there is there bottled watermelon juice. Other than that we always find what we need. Most of the staff is great. The lady at the coffee shop seems to either not like people or her job but there is one employee in particular who stands out for his kindness, customer service,and just all around great attitude. Kyle always makes us leave the store with a 😊. We were there yesterday and he was bagging our stuff and he had us cracking up. I wish more people on this earth were as happy as kyle. He is so happy he spreads that happiness.and if not for kyle alone we love this Mariano's. Its not everywhere you are greeted with a smile.

They're great. Being new to the area, I could already tell there is a type of attitude in Vernon Hills. Some people here are just absolutley rude. I've seen many people be so mean to the staff here for no reason. The staff is so helpful and kind. They deserve so much better than the treatment they receive from some of the customers in this town. If you need help, one or more staff members gets involved to help out.
The prices are good for the quality you buy. The store is always clean. I will continue to shop here and hopefully stop seeing customers be such jerks.

This is a great supermarket from fresh fruit and veggies to organic foods with a restaurant setting to have lunch or dinner while shop with an enormous parking lot with a lot of other restaurants coffee and hardware store and public transportation pace 574

Has everything you need. People who work here are so helpful. I went to the meat section and asked for lard, and two guys there walked me across the entire store to help me find the lard!

Went in to get a bag of ice, left an hour later with most of my weeks groceries. As other reviewers mention, the selection is fantastic. Even if you don't buy anything you won't be bored. Every department I visited; meats, cheeses, produce, frozen...all felt like they had quality whatever-you're-looking for and 5 or 6 similar offerings you may not have known existed. I was particularly impressed by their wine and liquor department. They have a selection of beers and spirits that you could get lost in, and the wines were beautifully presented.

Perhaps the one downside is their prices aren't super competitive. The prices for those exotic items tend to stay on those items, but a little of it bleeds onto the more mundane ones. However, the increase is nothing that would make me run to another store just to purchase those items, and I say this as a person of, um...very limited financial means.

In summary; aesthetic store, excellent, excellent selection, just don't come here if you're trying to shop for a family of 6.

What a fabulous place to market!! The deli section's variety of items is extensive and delicious. The store is easy to navigate with plenty of employees anxious to help with your every need. The produce is always super fresh and exceptionally displayed. Oh yes, don't miss the gelato bar to enjoy a tasty treat! I just LOVE this shopping experience!!!

A really nice Italian themed store, although, probably owned by Greeks or run by greeks, because they seem to do a better job! I can say that with a certainty because I'm Italian and Greeks are definitely better at the food business! I love the cheese, the fresh produce, the salad bars, can't complain. And the wine selection and other alcohol is quite extensive. The stores presentation of its merchandise is quite eye-catching, although they are a little more pricey. You definitely pay extra for the bells and whistles, and if you don't like all the bells and whistles, Woodman's is a good alternative! You'll save yourself a lot of money.

I have had great experiences at this location. The food/ produce is always fresh and the staff members are friendly. Today, Steve helped to check me out and he was such a sweet, joyful man- he made my day! I will continue to shop here because of the great experiences I have had. :)

This is one of my favorite Mariano's. The only huge disappointment is that they don't have a bar. Their alcohol tastings are limited to beer & wine. This is not their fault, but due to Vernon Hills ordinance being restrictive and not allowing it. Very nice store and one of Mariano's flagship locations. I highly recommend it!

We purchased our wedding cake from the bakery--one two tiered cake to put on display and two sheet cakes which were cut in the kitchen before they were served. We STILL have wedding guests talking about that butter cream!! Initially, we did it to save money, but it was ultimately the best decision overall for a beautiful and tasty cake. We will without a doubt be heading back for birthdays and anniversaries.

On top of amazing food, I've had very positive experiences with the staff here. Jimmy in Specialty really went above and beyond helping me search for a pretty obscure request, collaborated with other staff and when it was confirmed that product is not sold by Mariano's he and another staff member (I'm blanking on her name :/ but she was wonderful...Jen maybe?) helped locate a small store that should have the product. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars for the customer service, I would!

Our family uses of the pharmacy. Staff is exceptional!! They know me and my children by name now. Great service. I saw the gentleman in the wine department extremely knowledgeable and eager to help.

If I can give them 10 stars, I would! I was in a bind when a meat pre-order was not ready for pickup. I had 10 people coming over for dinner in 30 minutes! Mind you I had placed the order before the mass hysteria panic when every store was extremely busy and to be picked up on Friday, March 13th during prime time shopping hours. I just want to give a huge shout out to the managers and staff at Marianos in Vernon Hills. Not only did the store manager Kevin make sure the order was fulfilled, he even went the extra mile and delivered it the 1.5 miles down the road to my house! I have never experienced service like this! I raved about the service and all my guests were so impressed. Marianos made it happen! Thank you again! You have me as a customer for life!
