Crutchfield Store

We were out of state at a wedding in VA and decided to visit Crutchfield as we had heard about their wide selection of home stereo equipment. The in-store experience at Crutchfield can't be beat. The personalized attention given to us by Andrea and the team is incomparable to the big-name big-ticket appliance stores. We felt it was so far above the rest that one year later when we decided to make our purchase we drove 8 hrs south from CT, had a second super experience and purchased our dream system! Thank you, Crutchfield! We are customers forever!

I made the mistake of ordering a cheap Chinese head unit from Amazon. It went bad in less than a year and blew out one of my new speakers in the process. This time I ordered name brand from crutchfield as I should have done in the first place. Install went great with provided wiring harness and even had to call for assistance with wiring the reverse camera correctly which they helped me instantly and competently. I’ve used crutchfield since I was a teenager and lived nearby in VA. Now I’m 42 and live out of state and can say they are still the best place to get audio equipment from. Thanks guys!

We recently had a new TV wall mounted above our fireplace. Tom and Cory were the installers and could not have been more helpful. They were kind, considerate, professional and went above and beyond the task at hand. We cannot thank them enough for all of their help.

I stopped in to see what they had to replace My factory deck. I wasnt to optimistic b/c I was driving My 12yr old Suburban. I was pleasantly surprised with their selection. The Lady that helped Me was both knowledgeable and friendly. They had everything in stock too. If Your looking for an entire system installed or just a deck upgrade, Definitely considering checking them out.

I went into Crutchfield's store looking for a TV mount. I had a particular set of parameter I needed to satisfy. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain how their recommended TV mount would satisfy those needs. In addition I had questions about Sony TV's which Pat was very knowledgeable and explained in detail.

The before and after Crutchfield pictures speak for themselves but I have to add that our Crutchfield experts, CEs (not pictured), were pretty amazing. As we were checking out, I told our CE that he had forgotten something - he forgot to ask if we wanted the extended warranty. “You don’t need one.” he replied. When we went back a week later to pick up our beautiful console, the CE spent a lot of time helping us find the best fit for our subwoofer; he gets 5 stars, my husband gets 2 for telling me it would fit behind the TV. Bottom line, go to Crutchfield for your home electronics instead of a BB (big box) store where they ask if you want to buy the extended warranty on your new blender.

Beautiful store with kind and knowledgeable associates! The location choice was interesting from where it used to be (if you're going south, you'll have to make a U-turn) but all-in-all, I'd recommend here if anyone needed it!

Crutchfield is an amazing place to shop from. They have the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, they have a ton of knowledge on products and vehicles, and they have many extraordinarily useful tools for picking the right equipment for your purpose.

I will admit that Crutchfield is often not the cheapest place to buy from, but they’re always the best. Shipping is fast, customer service is amazing, their documentation is great, and overall it’s always a pleasant experience.

Their physical showroom was super cool to visit in person. The on-display products were a little underwhelming- I was expecting to see more of the newest products they carry, and hopefully try out a few pairs of headphones I could otherwise never afford, but it didn’t seem to be an option. However they had a few rooms that were soooo cool to try out.

The coolest room to me was the car simulator. It’s a small room with two car seats, and a bunch of speakers hidden in the walls. You can select your car (year/make/model), and then simulate what an audio system would sound like with specific gear in a specific car!!! So cool. You can compare different speaker/sub combos at different power outputs (although they don’t simulate specific amps yet, darn), and directly compare different combinations. They also had two speaker testing rooms and what I think was a home theater simulation room.

Sales professional was patient and well-informed in helping me understand my purchase (Apple4kTV). When he didn't know the answer, he said so.

I bought some speakers from them by the recommendation from the salesman and they were perfect the teck people were a blessing with helping me set up My system everyone I spoke with were very knowledgeable and courteous excellent experience with them would highly recommend them with your projects thanks so much....

If you need any type of electronics for your home, in my case home theater surround speakers, this is your GO TO business! I got expert advice from their online chat support (Willy) on a Sunday afternoon for needed in-wall rear surround speakers for my existing home theater. He recommended the type, brand and good price/value speaker for my home theater need. Also suggested the standard in-wall speaker brackets and the amount of speaker wire I would need for the job. Ordered the 3 products and had them in hand in 3 days. Subsequently contacted their installation services and found they don't fully service my location in Alexandria, but they recommended a good/local business who they have recommended before on home theater product install needs. Contacted this local business (Astro Services), got my quote, and scheduled my installation within a week of receiving my new speakers. Installation completed today! Highly recommend Crutchfield for your electronics and service needs, their staff is spot on in today's fast pace/low attention span on business practices on customer needs. Andrea saved our butts!!!!!! Our drone died while we were filming over the weekend and we had about two days to get a new one before flying out of the country for our next project. We went to Best Buy, but their entire drone section was out of stock and the sales reps weren't very helpful. We stopped at Crutchfield as a last resort. As soon as we walked in, we were met by a smiling Andrea who listened to our needs and helped us find the exact drone we needed in seconds. The pricing exactly matched that on the manufacturer's website and was competitive with what we had seen online. We were over the moon when she told us she could have it in the store the very next day. We went to the store this afternoon and the staff already knew who we were and had the drone waiting for us. Pick up took us literally 10 seconds! We are SO grateful to Andrea and this store -- they seriously saved our butts. Will be skipping Best Buy and shopping here from now on!

Absolutely out of this world. We ordered something at 6pm and it arrived the next morning at 10am. How does that even happen? The service is absolutely incredible at the store. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Probably one of the best stores I've ever been to. Like, just in general. It's the kind of place that will restore some of your faith in American retail.

Awesome experience! I got into car audio a couple of years ago. I’ve made purchases online from Crutchfield and had a great experience. In December 2018 I was looking to upgrade my head unit. I saw the one I wanted online but didn’t want to pay for expedited shipping. I decided to call the store. The employee kindly put the item on hold for me. I drove almost 3 hours from MD to visit the store and I’m glad I did. Got my new head unit and a great experience at a beautiful store with great staff. Thank you!

The staff and techs at Crutchfield are fantastic. I brought my car (2006 Audi A4) in for a new stereo install since the previous owner had some insane custom setup that I had no need for. I was convinced it was going to be a 2 day job at least. The techs had it finished in 3 hrs! The sales team was helpful in selecting a new unit, and I didn't have to pay anything additional beyond the estimated cost between the hardware and install. I would highly recommend.

I've always had the best experiences with Crutchfield. There isn't another company that can compare.
