I've had the pleasure of visiting this game store, and I must say it's nothing short of a gaming paradise. This place has truly won my heart with its incredible selection, knowledgeable staff, and overall fantastic atmosphere.

This was the third store I went in town and was phenomenal, Alex took the time to explain how MTG changed and the new formats, not only that he recommended other games and show me the schedule for all the events. Great place, highly recommend it

Heart of Gold is the perfect name for this place! All of my visits to other game stores in the past have been awkward at best, or I was completely snubbed because I'm not a dude. This store was absolutely welcoming and good vibes the entire time.

I was really impressed by the selection of Minis and all the painting supplies. Board game selection looked good. They have what you need for DnD, Warhammer, MTG, and Pokémon, plus Indie Games too. The whole place was really clean and tidy. Covid Precautions were followed and taken seriously, which made me feel really safe. The gaming table area looked inviting. Prices were reasonable or cheaper than I expected.

Had an awesome chat with Michael about TTRPGs and Indie Game Development. He's great conversation and has excellent customer service. I left the store feeling pumped, I can't say that about any other game store I've visited! Also received a 10% DM Discount with my purchase, which totally made my day!

I'm so bummed I don't live in Longmont because I would totally go here often to play. This store is a Gem and worth supporting. Definitely going to try to visit whenever I'm in town.

This place is great! As an avid gamer, I have frequented numerous game stores, but none have left an impression quite like this one. This store is a true haven for gamers, providing an unparalleled experience that caters to every gaming need and desire.

I will admit that over my years I have visited a LOT of gaming stores, and I've discovered that frequently they have things they each are better for or carry more of. Which is why I was ecstatic when I walked into Heart of Gold and saw a wall resplendent with mini figures for pathfinder and D&d. Often times I end up ordering online due to a lack of what I needed, such was not the case here.

On top of that they have a large area for gaming, dice, MTG cards, and even some large and beautiful pre painted miniatures that are worth a look.

The owner is knowledgeable about various gaming systems and seems eager to help his customers.

Having a genuine and nice game store owner in Longmont is very refreshing. If you want to see an amazing store and know you are getting the lowest price around, check out his wonderful store. Can't say enough good things about HOG Games. Thankful to have a game store that cares about its customers in town.

This store had one of the MTG singles I was looking for after being lied to by another store that no one else in town had singles. I'll be coming back and appreciate the kind, quick service of the gentleman on the phone holding the card until I could get across town.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. I haven't played MTG for a couple years, however everyone was willing to help me get up to speed and have some amazing games. Seriously, give these fine folks your business, it's rare to see such great customer service and authentic love for the game.

This place is great, with lots of minis and other D&D stuff. They also have a good selection of games. And the own will let to use a table for free. Great place to be a nerd

The owner greeted us on our first visit and chatted us up. They are definitely browncoats like us as well (Firefly). The store has a lot of miniatures, books, paint supplies, dice and collectable card game supplies, and tables to play or try board games and other tabletop goodness. They have one of the more extensive miniature collections I've seen in a gaming shop.

All in all, highly recommended for any geeks wanting to play their games in public.

Been here a few times now. Twice to shop and another to play 40k. Each time the staff have been very friendly and knowledgeable, helping with rules or just advice. They also have a great community on their discord!

This latest time, I had gone in to purchase some Blood Angels for my son and they literally stopped me in the parking lot cause they had the same item but for cheaper in clearance!

Heart of Gold is a great place to trade, play and hang out for all types of card games and RPGs. It's very welcoming for all ages and the staff is always really kind

I have been here about 5 times now. When I sold mtg cards I was given a fair price. When I bought things they were all MSRP and fair. The guy behind the counter has been the same all 5 times and been friendly and kind. What more could you ask for?

Great local gaming shop, prices are generally competitive with online retailers, and there's a much larger and more comfortable area for gaming than similar nearby shops.

I started going to heart of gold back in December, and the guys running the place are absolutely fantastic! They have cultivated an amazing community, and a place that is truly one of a kind. I will drive 45 minutes from home and skip multiple other hobby stores on my days off to go to this store. I couldn’t recommend this shop any higher!

This place just opened and I love it already. Good game selection, as well as cards and other nerdy delights. They're taking covid precautions, so I felt very safe there. The owner is really great too!

Heart of Gold is awesome! Killer prices with great people who know their stuff. Derek spent nearly half an hour helping me select all the tools and paints to bring my vision to life. Can’t get any better than that!

Moved to the area recently, and Heart of Gold Games have made me feel right at home already. The store is spacious, clean, and well-stocked. The employees and fellow Magic players alike are both very open and welcoming.
