Music Town

One of the last good record stores in this area. I’ve been shopping here since my teens and am so thrilled they are still thriving to this day. This is a small music store in a tiny strip center that hasn’t changed much since I first walked in, with the exception of the change in ownership. Music Town has been able to locate nearly everything I have ever wanted to buy and has a great selection of older and newer vinyl, cds and collectors compilations. Brent is friendly and unpretentious when he discusses music and can find just about anything you’re looking for. There are occasional listening parties and they will buy or trade if you’re looking to adjust your collection. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Visiting from the Dallas area and I can say this is the best record store I’ve ever been to. So many various artists I couldn’t make up my mind on what to get! Brent is also fantastic! Support him and his wife on April 20, RSD 2024!

Had an absolutely amazing time visiting the store. I’ve been a collector of vinyl since the early 80s. I’m always hunting for colored final four pictures on records. They had a few here but what was so impressive it was the guy working was willing to order just about anything I could dream up and have it to me Before the weekend. I mean I couldn’t even do that myself if I spent hours pouring over auction sites and specialty dealers. He even help me find a rare B-side Pearl Jam album that contained my favorite song, footsteps. I just ran in for a few minutes to see if they had one Violent Femmes CD I was looking for, I wound up spending probably about two hours in there and left with my arms full . The absolute coolest staff ever in a music store! Usually people don’t want you just hanging out pawing through all of their inventory but not here! Here they encourage it. And the prices… Well just look at the pictures I posted. Blu-rays for 1 to 2 dollars and awesome clearance racks! I am absolutely just obsessed with this place! Check it out hopefully you find exactly what you’re looking for but just in case you don’t remember you can always ask and they will happily order it for you. If you don’t know the name of the song and you don’t know the band but you can hum a few tunes I’m pretty sure they can get that done for you too. Extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in all things music, yeah they’ve got that covered.

One of the best music stores I have ever been, huge selection of vinyls, and cds, and the owner is super friendly, and talkative.

You need it and they will find it. Feels like jumping into a time machine and heading back to the 90's. Nothing but awesomeness on every level. Also the owner is one of the most friendly and helpful people around. Any time we have asked for something they have been able to order or it in or tell us when a possible release day might be coming.

If you need records or cd's than this is the place to go.

I hate this place. I hate this place so much because every time I go there, I spend so much time marveling and looking through the variety of cds. They have records of every genre, both new and used. The customer service is way too good, and they’re so nice… they could answer any question you have, which kinda scares me. Do not go here unless you’re prepared to have the best experience of your life (looking for music)!!!

This is an awesome place.. whether you’re a local or a media lover from out of town, they always have some type of item that you will NEED to have in your mitts. I always leave with a SCORE for my collection. Found a really great DORO box set here during Christmas and they held it for me to get after work. RIGHTEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

This was my first time going to a record shop ever and I was a little nervous but it was such a nice place, everything is organized alphabetically and by genre. They have mostly a selection of older music than the newer stuff coming out but it’s a hidden gem. Personally couldn’t find what I was looking for but the employees were super nice and offered to put my number down for back order. Definitely would go again.

I love Music Town. The ownere are helpful and knowledgeable. There are a ton of hidden jewels in their huge selection of vintage vinyl. Music Town is a must visit location when you are in this area if you love shopping in an old school record store.

Gary and Nick. Solid music knowledge, beats me hands down and you know what? That is EXACTLY what I want out of people running a place like this. Hit them with jazz, punk, deep old rock, even some country - they didn't blink. If you love music and love digging through crates for gems... and talking music, these guys are great. 👍🤘😍😁

Best music store I've ever been to, been a loyal customer since i was in high school 24 years ago. If James and Chris can't order you an album they don't have it probably doesn't exist. Very personal atmosphere and has the mom and pop type atmosphere I've never seen at any other business. Highly recommended to other people in the past and will continue to shop there.

I was about to buy a CD off of Amazon, but decided last minute to try this store out, as I remember my family going here a lot many many years ago. I'm glad I gave this place a try. The owner is incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable about music. Music Town is everything you'd hope for in a small business. The owner just earned another regular patron. The service feels personal and professional. I found myself sticking around after my purchase just to talk to the owner. Really cool guy!

Been here several times, whenever I'm in this part of town I always stop by. Phenomenal prices, excellent selection, very friendly service - just a perfect place to shop for music. I find many great things with each visit.

My dad and I both knew James before he semi retired and left the shop in the hands of a wonderful guy named Chris. They both have been nothing but amazing and great to their customers. I always buy my cd's and vinyls here. If i ever want something specific that isnt at the store, Chris is there and he'll order it for you and you pick it up within a week! I love taking my business to them. :)

Great place to go to get old and new cd's. The pricing is very reasonable. If your a music collector a great place to go. I enjoyed my visit and found some good music and made some great buys.

Local vinyl shop that deserves the support of your small business dollars. They have other music options as well, but the wide variety of records is the main draw. Super friendly staff who will help you find what you need or order what they don't have.
