Family Fare Supermarket

A bit more expensive than Meijer or Aldi but very convenient when you want to get in and out quickly. Stopped in tonight (Thanksgiving eve) and was able to pickup Cool Whip quickly.

This review is for the curbside pick-up service that they provide. Since the pandemic hit, I have used several grocery pick-up services. This Family Fare is one of the best that I have used. That is not to say that there is no room for improvement. There is.
However, this Family Fare has some of the nicest, friendliest crew working there. The meat is always very good, and I trust them not to crush my bread. If you have to order groceries like I do, this Family Fare is worth the subscription.

The deli at the Kentwood location was amazing. I ordered 85 pieces of chicken. They were very helpful in the ordering process and prompt for pickup. Jennifer was especially helpful. Delicious chicken. Highly recommend.

Loved the store and pharmacy staff was superb! They made making our move from Tampa Florida to Byron Center less hectic when it came to filling our medications.

Family Fare is great for many reasons!
1. They open early and stay open late.
2. There are many so for most people it should be close by.
3. Some will say they are expensive but they have good sales and with coupons on top of a sale the prices are either lower or comparable to other stores alike.
4. The convenience of walking in, finding what you need and walking out quickly!
5. Variety- they have a variety of items, if you need a quick gift, you can find something for any age in their decor/toy sections.

Always a great experience. The whole team are rockstars and love them all. As a fellow SpartanNash associate they truly live our core behaviors in every interaction.

Absolutely amazing, except they were out of raisins, and the self checkout wouldn't take my money, but the service desk was amazing. Will definitely be back.

I shop this store a lot! The shelves are usually well stocked. The staff will open lanes quickly if they start to get busy. If there is someone available they will bag for you. There is a map on the shopping cart to show the aisle # of some popular items you may be looking for.

Haven't been able to enjoy an acorn squash since my Jim died last year. He always cut it in half for me. Today I thought I would ask Jenn, in deli, if someone could help me out. Not only did she cut it in half but wrapped it up and brought it to me while I shopped. I was touched by her kindness.

I only go in here when I visit my friend. I'm from the east side of the state... very nice store.

I like Family Fare over the bigger stores because on days when I need only a few things I don't need to walk through a huge store to get milk on one side and then hygiene stuff way across the building. I like the smallness of this location compared to the other grocery stores in my area. The prices are a little higher on some things but the lines at the checkout tend to be better than at the other stores.

I always love family fare. This one is super big and spacious. Every thing is located exactly where you think it should be for one round the store shopping experience.

I love this store and the people who work there have been there for years and are so great. The bakery items are recommended. I think they have the best beef around too. This is my #1 store for groceries.

Bakery dept is always so beautiful & tempting. Huge selection of meat, dairy and produce. Pleasant to shop here... versus other huge grocery stores

I pre-ordered 3 dozen doughnuts as my daughter wanted to bring them as a class treat. I paid a great price. (way better than I was quoted at the doughnut shop in Wyoming!) The bakery ladies were very accommodating. Store was clean and well maintained.

The Family Fare at Kalamazoo & 60th is great. You have the most wonderful honest staff person! I didn’t get her name but she was on the floor helping bag self-checkout groceries very early on the morning of Father’s Day 2021. I had purchased a couple small things in self checkout and used the cash back option. Still tired, i ended up gathering up my grocery bags and strolling away without grabbing my cash. Even though she was several aisles away, the staff person heard the beeps and ran to grab my cash and hand it to me. I was so very grateful!! I would have probably made it all the way home before realizing my mistake. So thank you, thank you, thank you, kind and wonderful Family Fare staff person!

Great store, people are friendly enough, very enjoyable experience

Thanks to the flower department who put together a flower arrangement and card for my Mum on Mother's day. Excellent phone service by store associates, especially because it was an online order I made from another state. Thanks again Family Fare family

I love this locations produce section. Everything is already cleaned, prepped and ready to go. The store is always clean too. Way better than the location on 44th & Breton. Prices are a little high though. That would be my only complaint.

Have shopped here for years. Good stuff , good price. Been using fast lane- last 3 orders had problems. This order was correct - no issues.
