I enjoy visiting Home Depot. I usually know what I’m looking for when I get there. There is staff always moving about to ask for help. I try to trip them up and ask for an exotic part and they almost always know what isle and section it’s hiding in. If they’re not busy, they’ll walk you over to the section.

Looking to save money at Home Depot? Forget shoplifting overpriced hardware, consider alternate sizes/performance grades and get what you need for a lot less. For example, a 100ft of 12/3 copper romex was priced at over $200…I don’t subscribe to copper being at all time high prices. A few feet away was burial and UV rated 100ft 12/3 copper romex for under $100. Same amount of copper in each spool but $100 difference in price.

Not sure what home depot I'm reviewing because I have been to 3 and the past week. When the plumbing is messed up it take a bunch to trips to the home depot.

I just want to say, I am so thankful for the assistant manager Cindy. I lost my gift cards from Xmas but I had the receipt. It was so hard trying to get help to cancel my cards and get new ones. But we sat down and she went beyond her duties and helped me get in contact with corporate, so we could figure this out together. This was almost a month of back and forth. I am so thankful for her. I know she could have just told me oh well as others tried too. She really deserve a pay raise and a higher position. In the beginning I was like, I'm never shopping here again but because of her, I changed my mind. Thank you again for everything you did for me Cindy. You are an amazing assistant manager and I appreciate everything you did for me.

Went to Home Depot to browse their tools for an upcoming project I have going on at the ranch and by golly the hospitality I felt going through those doors was something out of the movies. First off, I was a bit nervous going out for materials because of the covid19 scare, so I wanted to make sure I came prepared. Brought my gloves, rain coat (can never be too prepared), and shower cap to avoid microbes in my hair. I drove all the way to the store when I realized I forgotten my gloves. "Time to risk it for this biscuit" I said as I got out of the car. I was welcomed by an associate named Cindy. She has the most pleasant smile and asked my reason for visiting her location. I told her I needed a drill and she said "say no more!!" She asked me to follow her and lead me to the exact location of the drill I needed.

Now remember how I said I forgotten my gloves? Well this is an issue for me since now I have to touch the drill box. I said out loud "I have come to terms with these germs!" And went to reach for the box before Eddie stopped me in my tracks. "Sir!" He exclaimed, "do you need a pair of gloves for your shopping experience?!". Now before I go any further, the fact that his name is also Eddie blew my mind. It was as if my subconscious came to life before me and stopped any virus from breaching my personal space. Tears almost came to my eyes and I somehow got out the word "si". I don't speak Spanish but that's all my brain could muster.

Long story short this was the best customer service experience I've had in my life, and I mean that coming from an SERIOUS MENARDS CUSTOMER. Home depot, and most specifically, the home depot at this location, has gained a customer for life. Thanks Cindy and Eddie! You had everything to do with it.

I love Home Depot. I’m here 2 times a week at the least. More when projects demand. The staff is helpful and I usually can find what I need. The online Ap is super helpful to pre shop for items.

I don't normally review large franchise businesses but the Home Depot in Oakbrook Terrace really stands-out with their customer service. I am guessing this location's management put an emphasis on the importance of friendly customer service. Danny, in customer service/returns is always super friendly and fun to deal with. Other employees working the isles are also very pleasant and eager to help. Customer Service has been on a steady decline for years but The Home Depot in Oakbrook Terrace has brought it back in a big way! Thanks for what you do, guys!

The staff here is very helpful. I wish I could remember the name of the man who works in the paint section that helped my fiancée and I but unfortunately I cannot remember his name so thank you to the staff of this home depot location, they are better than most I have visited!

My go to store! They always have what I need at very good prices. I have used them for routine and emergency issues for twenty years . The only down side is the curb side pick up is unreliable. Go in and pick up online orders. They also have a %10 military discount.

Went in to pick up a few mid-season replacements for some annual planters that succumbed to the summer doldrums. They had a nice selection of hanging planters available. Also wanted to pick up a dependable, but inexpensive ratcheting screwdriver driver for a niece who is headed to college. The hardware staff member who helped me was very helpful in selecting my purchase

Great experience except the associate in Appliances. I never looked up from her cell phone to greet me and engage with me!

I went to the Oak Brook location a few weeks ago for a new gas range. Salesman (Ken) was very professional, knowledgeable and quick with processing the paperwork. Didn't have to wait long for service. Also, the delivery people were very polite and professional. Since Sears is no longer around, it's good to know that I have a hassle free place to go for appliances now.

I am beginning a paint project in my home, I went to the paint corner and was helped by a young girl (can’t remember her name) but she was so helpful and made sure that I needed everything I needed for my paint project. I didn’t know a lot about paint and things to do to prepare the wall, she knew exactly what I needed. She was very patient with me and even answered all my dumb questions. Excellent customer service!

I'm not very good at fixing things at home, so when I need to fix something I always go to this Home Depot. You can always find someone to help you here. Employees are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help. They always answer all my questions and help me find what I'm looking for, and take the time to make sure I find the right products. Great service!

Me and my dad visited this store on 4/15/2020. We checked some other Home Depo’s but this one got the best employees. They are very helpful and humble. Jamie was at our service in the Lumbar section. He was very patient and helpful. Very down to earth. We would definitely come back and shop for more. That man needs a raise!!!

I'm loving the Home Depot app! It really helped me find the exact locations of a couple items. It directed me to the exact location of a garage door replacement handle. Would never have found it on my own. The store was clean and well stocked. Covid precautions seemed to be working. Very happy with my experience.

Went for some floor tile. Took a little bit to find it because it was on an end cap instead of the normal location. But it was there. Also got a screw driver set with torx bits. Quick trip and great service. Always well stocked and great employees.

This is a very good home Depot, however I don't think I've ever been to a home Depot that did not have good service. is also very clean store to shop it including the bathroom which is a big thing for me I always checked the bathrooms to make sure that they're keeping it up.

I saw this location option and never had a problem with purchases, returns, and exchanges.

Has a large variety of whatever you might need for your home project.
