My wife loves their fresh green. The easy to check out are Great. I and my wife,we are very pleased.

Great local grocery store. Exceptionally clean with friendly and helpful staff. A wide variety of products and they have always had what I've wanted in stock every time I shop there. I saw a former colleague of mine who retired a year ago and we were able to have a pleasant conversation and catch up without disturbing other shoppers or blocking the aisles. This store has ample space for shopping and conversing and the store never seems crowded even when there are numerous people shopping there. They also have great sales and excellent reduced prices on closeout items. Ample parking space and great features on the building to keep birds from perching and doing their business all over the walkway and cars. Really well designed newer Food Lion store location.

Thank you to food lion for letting me park my truck and trailer in your parking lot. Very nice afternoon/evening manager said as long as I park all the way out close to the road. I even found a good microwave dinner.

The store is always clean and well stocked. It is usually not crowded unlike the bigger chain stores so you can feel more relaxed and safe. Produce is fresh and there is a nice variety to chose from.

Remodeling was a pain trying to find anything. But now that it's complete, it is much better. Cleaner, above all else. Seems like even the employees have better dispositions. You feel better about your job when the environment is improved.

Here we go this in my opinion is the best food Lion in Portsmouth.I will tell you that it's very clean, when I go there they always have everything I need in stock.I would like to also have to say that the staff is friendly overall.I do very highly recommend shopping at this Food lion.Let talk about access to the store it's very close to the interstate, airline Blvd. and Green wood Drive.The parking lot is large and it's easy in and out. Every time I shop at this food lion every single employee is super nice and friendly always offering to help me find my groceries! Even when its extremely busy they are kind and helpful. I love my neighborhood Food Lion it always feels like home

No problem with Food Lion. I went there because Walmart didn't have my favorite sausage. Also, what's frustrating at Walmart is ringing up my own groceries, putting it in bags and then paying for them! I may as well be working there. The employees are standing around looking at their fingernails!

For me a great little store to stop by on the way home. Place is always clean and I can find what I want. They do not pay hide and seek with their products.

I was walking out the store and in my cart I had About five cases of water for my office as I’m walking out and halfway through the parking lot somebody yells “hey excuse me ma’am let me help you” after I refuse to let him help me I saw him walking away from the Food Lion as if his shift was over and he was going home. He genuinely wanted to help me even though he wasn’t paid for it. With all the negativity going on all day every day during Covid it truly made my day to know that this young man meant nothing but good on his own time. Shout out to James because I begged him for his name after offering his help. Thanks James !!!!

Food Lion is great! Had almost everything I wanted. I'm looking for a frozen "Country Fried Beef Steak" which for some reason keeps being closed out. Or I'd be happy with any form of breaded beef patty! I think they used to be called 'Chuck wagons. But nothing at all like that.
