Chowrastha - Groceries,Halal Meat & Eatery

Collection not bad. But, I didn’t find halal certified meet. Pran chips or other Bangladeshi snaks are not available. Restaurant portion is really good. Interior design is so satisfactory.

We went there when the temperatures were in the mid 10’s. We asked for an extra bowl of sambar with dosa because it was just that kind of a weather and they happily provided it, not 1 but 2 bowls at no charge.

We had also ordered paneer tikka kebab which they do not usually serve with any side of veggies. We asked for some veggies and they gladly provided the paneer in the bed if cabbage/carrots slaw and bell peppers.

I know it’s not much but the little things like this makes us want to go back.

Chowrastha in Northlake offers food of decent quality, and it seems to be a regular stop for us, with weekly visits. Their chai is particularly impressive. While you enjoy the Chowrastha chicken, we have noticed it can be a bit oily at times. Their breakfast options are well-prepared and tasty. The store provides a wide variety of food options, including groceries, vegetables, and meat, all of which appear fresh and of good quality. It's a convenient spot for Northlake residents to enjoy delicious Indian food and stock up on essentials.

Finally after a long wait Indian grocery store opened in Argyle.
Large store , store was stocked nicely n clean.
Food was also good in taste.

Food is generally consistent and good.

Ordered Irani Tea, Vijayawada Chicken Biryani Special And Dosa. Though chicken Pieces in Biryani are little Saucy, Rice Flavored well. Dosa is huge and Tastes right. Must visit Place with Friends and Family.

I recently ate at chowrasta and it was fantastic! they have a beautiful ambiance with fine dining. About their food the Goat Fry Biriyani, Andhra Chicken, and Chettinad Chicken were too good. Each dish was delicious and left me completely satisfied.

They got a very good snacks. Especially onion samosa and jalapeno chicken are must try here

Hmmmm. This place is incredible. I have no idea what kind of chicken they made for me, but it was delicious. I typically just tell the chef/cook to surprise me and wow did they. Meet was falling of the bone, rice was cooked perfect, spices were on point. I will be back.

I like quality of food, cut mirchi,pepper shrimp, panner briyani, mirchi bajji, varieties of dosa & idlis, and small onion samoas Staff are good & service is quick, except on weekends. When is it heavy rush. Will visit again.

Great experience with these food and their service. It remembered homely food. I tried all types of foods includes Biryani, South Indian snacks and chat everything is fantastic. Highly recommended place for dining and takeout.
