I find stuff here that I don't find at other hardware stores. Their employees are friendly and helpful. There's a cat that greets customers too!

I went in for a random part for my pressure washer and the associates wouldn’t stop until we found a solution to my problem. Very great experience today.

They're always super helpful and friendly here! They always ask if I need help finding anything (which I usually do 😅) and they are happy to answer any questions I have.

I always forget about this place. Came in for 1 thing and they had the other stuff I thought I was gonna have to go to a different store for. Awesome

I really like this place! Stopped by Sunday morning to pick up a product that was shown to be in stock online. A salesman could not find it on the sales floor so we went to the warehouse and he dug through a huge shipment that had just come in. We found it. Great service!

This store is awesome. They have almost everything. The layout of the store is easy to operate and the staff was very helpful.

Very helpful staff. They were remodeling so the place was a mess. A very kind woman took me under her wing and helped me search for a Shop-Vac filter that only cost around $6. There are times in the past where I've called ahead asking about a specific part or piece of hardware I'm looking for and the person at the front desk already had it waiting for me without me even asking. Try finding that at one of the big box stores.

Appreciate the convenient location and kind staff! Coltin was awesome and went the extra mile for me. He found the Eagle store had something I was looking for, so I was able to grab it the same day- much appreciated!

Grace worked super hard to dig up a receipt for a product we started having issues a few months after purchase. We are now able to register the product to use the warranty to hopefully get it fixed! She is amazing!

This is my go-to hardware and lumber store even though I live close to Lowe's and Home Depot. I've taken some time to get to know the employees and have found the service fantastic. I love the individual hardware isle, it's one of the only places in town with a good selection of small and unique hardware. I also think their lumber is higher quality than the big box stores, even though it's a little more. The last pressure treated beam I bought at home depot looked yellow in comparison to the lumber from Ace, like it had only been partially treated. Did I mention you get to back your truck inside and they'll help you pick and load the lumber? If you like walking around a lot, are hyper-focused on cost, or need to buy a patio set, table saw, and petunias all in the same trip, then the big box stores are probably more to your liking. To each their own, but I like the small hardware store feel and prefer to shop at local businesses.

I’ve been so pleased with the outstanding customer service I received from these folks in connection with a recent purchase of a Weber grill. I had looked at the big box stores and chose Thriftway because they had what I wanted in stock and could deliver an assembled unit to my house within an hour of purchase, and because they offered an incentive of including a propane tank as part of the deal. Something the big box stores couldn’t do.
Unfortunately, the initial product was problematic, and I initially tried to work it out directly with Weber without success. After a few weeks, I went back to Thriftway, and explained my frustrations to Barbara, the store manager. Barbara immediately got on the phone with Weber and put me in touch with an escalation team who took it from there. After several unsuccessful further attempts to fix the problem by swapping out several parts, the escalation team agreed to swap out the original grille with an upgraded model. When the new unit was delivered to the store, the store assembled it. Barbara phoned me to say it was ready. Barbara herself, along with an associate, came over the next day and delivered and set up the new unit and hauled away the old one.
I’m pleased to report that the initial “maiden run” of the new grill was successful.
The fact that the store manager herself willingly got her hands dirty, so to speak, was very impressive, and I will, from this point forward, use this store as my first “hardware store” option.

I was amazed at the level of personal customer service! The gentleman helped me with my ideas for my project and picking out the right supplies and didn't make me feel rushed like I've experienced other places that are a bit closer to home. I will defenently drive the extra mile from to buy my hardware supplies here from now on. Great experience!
