The clothes are beautiful and very well made but I love this store more for the women who work there. Very special! You are free to shop on your own but if you want help they really know the clothes and seem to really enjoy helping.

Excellent experience and service

I had a very nice experience shopping at Talbots this week. A very nice lady ( Carrie) helped me start up getting emails from Talbots so I can take advantage of sales, etc. The clothes are not entirely to my taste (mainly the prints) but I found two lovely tops (solid colours) and some beautiful sandals. Also a lot of ordinary items (like simple t-shirts) seem to be above $ 60. A bit pricey in my opinion. I am hoping to take advantage of their sales more often.

Spent about 20 minutes looking around and was completely ignored by the employees. Used not be that way. They used to be eager to help, but not this time. Chose to spend my money elsewhere with better customer service.
