First time in this location. Got the items I need, you save a few cents with safeway card which is good. Friendly employees at self serve kiosks and within the store

Second time in and I was greeted by a nice white gentleman who pointed me to the candy I was looking for, self-checkout was quick, in and out. That's some good service for a market.

I shop here all the time and for the first time I tried their egg salad and it was not satisfying. Recommend y’all add some type of seasoning

This store has greatly improved over the past few years. The last time I was here (in 2019) the store was a little disorganized and the produce was not as appealing. The store is much better now. The produce was very high quality, as I would expect from Safeway, and the store was very clean too. Their coupon policy has always been better than nearby Giant grocery stores. In 2019, when I visited this store a few times, I used many coupons and was even paid the overage. The next time I need groceries when I'm in Owings Mills, I will make sure to come back to this store.

Safeway is not just a supermarket ;it can be an experience. Like most markets, you grab a sales paper and go after some bargains. However, in Owings Mills, this store has a lot to offer. Friendly staff that are willing to help you. Restrooms are usually clean. Also, unexpected sales that are not listed in the sales flyer. A Starbucks and a really great hot food's bar. Safeway can be highly priced on some things, but the quality is there. I have tried several different locations, but this is my favorite .

Always a pleasant shopping experience and I can always find what I'm looking for (and if I can't find it, there's usually someone who can help).

UPDATE - This visit (4/15), there was NO frozen corn on the cob! None, no national or store brand. What's up with that? Also, I wanted to buy a store baked pound cake but the cashier couldn't find the price (no QR code), wouldn't take my word for it and told me that a "price check" would take awhile. I had to leave the store without it. Disappointed...

Clean, organized, amazing selection of everything- including meat department!

Carries products that Wegmans doesn’t- literally has THE best croissants 🥐, Chobani drinkable yogurt flavors that I haven’t seen anywhere, the freshest ginger you will ever see & just the most delish radish. 5+ 🤩👌

I've made several late-night runs (mostly for ice cream) and I always have the pleasure of a wonderful conversation with your cashier Dave. He was such a delight, and he genuinely made me laugh. Honestly, he made my day. His puns and jokes are always unexpected and hilarious. He 10/10 made my experience incredible. He deserves a raise

Love this place, especially the Starbucks at this location because it's never as busy as the regular stores. This Safeway has easy to operate self check out so I've never had to actually wait in line and if you look hard enough, you'll find deals on almost anything. There was a 5 pack of Pentel glitter pens worth $7.99 on sale for $1.27 ... I bought like 8 packs for the cost of one, that was a really good find, I'm glad I looked in the clearance aisle that day :):)

Manager, Joe D, saw me searching and asked if he could help. He got from the bakery refrigerator the round corn bread I was looking for to take to a party. Also, recommended the deli cornbread. I appreciate the extra care he took in my shopping experience, today. I always find good sale prices at Safeway. Safeway has great donuts and bakery products, too.

Very well stocked. Fresh meat and seafood. Has more items to choose from compared to box stores. The store was clean and the employees customer friendly. I just hope they continue to bring more stores in Baltimore county.

This has to be my favorite supermarket the place is always clean at least everytime I've been there. Their prices are pretty much the same as all the other supermarkets. On Mondays they have a cooked chicken special 8 pcs for $4.99 baked or fried your choice and I hear there are other specials during the week. So if you haven't shopped here yet check them out you just might like it as much as I do, see you in the store.

I was a little frustrated I couldn't get the handicap cart to work. The manager not sure of his name but he had a Gray shirt on, came over to help me out ..Got it started for me and I was on my way. I really appreciate you going to extra mile thank you

Curbside pickup was really easy, the young man was really friendly and fast. Highly recommend 👍

If you are doing curbside, park in the loading zone in front of the store, there is no designated parking.

I was impressed with the butcher who was assisting an elderly man. He gave him top notch personalized attention for the cut of meat he wad looking for. He asked me if he could assist me as well. How refreshing! I wish I had asked for his name!

This is a GOOD Safeway Store! The Customer Service is Great because the Staff CARES and Appreciates THEIR Customers!

One Hand Washes the Other . . . They NEED Us, and WE Need Them! The fact that the store is Open Until midnight is Competitive Advantage!

I have lived in the area for 7 years. I have found that Safeway has been a store for me as a Vegetarian, to shop. I find things at other stores, but I tend to venture to Safeway more. My overall opinion is...management and staff have always been most friendly and helpful to me. One thing is important to whom is commenting on these sites...I work for the public also, you should never point the finger at someone...because there are always three fingers pointing back at you. Talk about helpful. I can't recall if ever there was a time I sent a review on a grocery store unless it was because of a really terrible experience meaning it's rare that I've come across one that was so good I had to rave about it. But today is that day. I was doing some running around and needed to stop at the grocery store for game day items and was planning on going to Wegmans or Weis but I was in the same parking lot as Safeway and figured what the heck I'll swing in and see what they have. Not only was I able to get literally every item on my list but they had some specialty items I wasn't expecting. I'm making shrimp tacos and chicken tortilla soup and I wanted some Cotija to go on it but this store had a designated section for crumbly Spanish cheeses they had Cotija they had queso fresco they had ones I have never even seen before in all sorts of different varieties of sizes and quantity. Then I was in the produce aisle and I couldn't believe how overly helpful the two folks that were working in produce were. First I asked if they had any Pico de gallo and the one guy asked the other woman she went in the back and checked if they were making any fresh and came out and brought me one of each of what they had out today to see if any of them would suffice for what I was looking for. Often you get forgotten about if you don't stand next to the person helping you at a grocery store but this woman came and found me in the produce section after she had gone in the back and looked and tracked me down to show me exactly what they had to offer me. They had three options pretty standard hot and mild and then they also had a pineapple mango . Then there was a guy stocking produce I must have had to get around 3 different times and i apologized for continuing to interrupt him and he made it a point to tell me it was his pleasure to help and I was not interrupting him. They had tomatillos and variety of peppers, etc. The ONLY complained I had was that there poultry selection was a little Limited. The no hormone antibiotic-free options were very small packages so to get enough I had to buy a multiple if I wanted the store brand I could have gotten a larger package so it was a bit more challenging than it needed to be in that regard. But this store aims to please every single person that had an opportunity to interact with me went out of their way to show me that I was the customer and I came first even one point when I was walking by The Butcher and he was stalking meet he instantly stepped back out of my way and waited without a single complaint offered to help if there was anything he could do for me anything he can help me find. Maybe this shouldn't be that big of a deal but most of the grocery stores I've been in lately you have to practically hunt somebody down to help you and when they do help you they sort of make you feel like it's an inconvenience. I had a pretty full cart today and when I pulled up to the checkout line I thought to myself oh great this girl is going to be upset at how large of an order I have but she was the exact opposite she smiled she welcome to me she asked me how my day was going she made friendly conversation as she was checking me out not once did I feel like I was an inconvenient not once did I feel like I should have gone to a different store. You're in the area and you've got a ton of options Safeway is worth the stop I don't feel that way about every Safeway but this one made me sit down and write a review. Because of the interaction with employees without a multitude and not just one I'm confident that you will have the same experience that I did it seems to be the way they teach their staff all around. I will definitely be returning to the store for future shopping.

I very much like this Safeway in Owings Mills. The folks that work there are considerate and courteous, and this store often has product that is unavailable at my other grocery store options.

Clarence is an excellent cashier! He is very nice. I like the store in general, I can find everything I need
