Lidl

Lidl is a great grocery store. However, I love getting their mild salsa and the last two times. I’ve gotten it, it has been expired. I got one thing of it last time and it was expired and this time I got four and they were all expired. I tried to see if I could check the expiration date but I couldn’t and I talked to the cashier when they were checking me out to tell them. “Hey I got this last time and it was expired.How how do I know it’s not this time.” The cashier looked at it and then just let me have all four of them. A good thing, too, because they were all expired. I would just like this problem fixed and that is all

Amazing store and amazing prices. Absolutely fantastic bakery, with great selection if inexpensive, delicious bread and pastries, the rest of the selection in store is also really good. For the size of this store, it has surprisingly large selection of items and food. I prefer Lidl over Costco for fruits and veggies as prices are similar, but portions are much more manageable, while the quality is just as high, if not higher in some cases.

I have been shopping at the Goose Creek store until this one opened. This one has a wider variety of items to choose from and a larger store. It isn't any further to travel because both of them are a little distance from me.

Update: They no longer mark things down to $1.50. they only go to 30% off. Due to this, it's actually cheaper to go elsewhere for meat.
If I could give 10 stars I would 100% do so!
We went to Lidl tonight (10/27/22) and bought 23 packs of Mediterranean Herb Preseasoned Salmon for $18.40! They were marked down to $1.50 each! We had a couple coupons they let us stack so we ended up spending $27.60 on the Salmon! We got a few other things as well. Our total was$35.76! It was originally $253.22! We were absolutely ecstatic! We will absolutely be back to see what other amazing deals we can find! I have never seen these kinds of deals at the Aldi on Rivers Ave.
Highly recommend this Grocery Store!

We shop at Lidl for a wide variety of staple items, Lidl label, all of which are as good as the name brands we used to buy. Especially salsa, butter, whole bean coffee, sale meats, eggs, milk, cream cheese, pasta. The fruits and vegetables seldom meet, my standards for quality and freshness.

Great and fair prices. Main place I purchase my groceries. Always, super clean.

This place is great, staff friendly and wide variety of items you can't find anywhere else

This Lidl has such a wonderful selection of products and all aisles are very well stocked and neatly arranged! Thank you to the employees and their hard work! 🙂

Great prices. Use their app to save even more. I just wish there was one closer to home.

LOVE this store!! I just came in to look around. I think I've found a new grocery store. Even their meats are inexpensive & fresh!!!

Prices are fair to excellent. This is currently a great place to get bag salads for cheap! Note that their stock and pricing may change rapidly.

The carts are unlocked (unlike Aldis), which is a plus.

The store has a better flow to it as well as good selection on neat and produce. Check the freezer section, always interesting desserts!

Like similar stores, you will have to bring/purchase bags and bag your own groceries. The cashiers are efficient, too. Advice: Start loading your stuff on the conveyer beforehand, and be prepared to bag and pay quickly. I'm not a fan of this checkout style, I'd rather have self checkout, but it's a standard at these types of stores and can be faster to clear customers out.

These stores are not for me, but I will be shopping here again because others in my family like it, and compared to Aldis, this store should get 10 stars. If your grocery bill is getting out of hand, try Lidl. Fast, cheap, good, but a little hectic.

I like the simple lay out which keeps prices lower since displays aren't there in the isles, etc. They also have a section of household and non grocery goods. Selection is very limited but they have every basic thing you would need to prepare a meal or snacks. You bring your own bags or buy Lidl bags. I don't mind bugging my own groceries... I feel it's a faster checkout. Overall, it's a good basic store with a phenomenal self serve bakery section that offers a good variety of breads and pastries!

This is a great store! Prices are very good, love the bakery items, diverse selection, friendly staff! The free app goes a long way as well. Can't recommend enough!

Brand new store! Like the one in Goose Creek, it can get a little frantic on Saturday. Wednesday morning is the best time to be there.

Daily prices seem to be on par with Walmart. We've never caught a difference either way more than a few cents. If you don't shop the sales or use the coupons, I feel like the price differences are a wash overall.

Even if you're not a coupon person (I'm not), you need to get the app and play the coupons. They give $10 off $40 coupons out like candy. Yes, I'll take 25% off my groceries!

Love this store. The workers here are so sweet as well!

This just may be the most advanced lidl I have been to, and I've been to all of the ones currently in operation on the east coast. It's a much smaller building than others, but it's organized well, and they almost seem to have *too* much stock, leading to some giant discounts on soon-to-expire items.

This is also a great store for those with sensory issues, as it is usually very quiet, and they aren't blasting music.

I love their organic options and they have a lot of really neat items available like pre-made strombolis. Unfortunately, the two in my area are both really far away but I happened to be in that area yesterday so we had to stop in.

European food. Black bread is the only place where you can buy fresh and tasty. Lovely battery buns.

It looked great and the staff was friendly. There is a wide variety of goods, and some specialty items
I will go back when it's not the grand opening. It was so crowded that it was hard to move. I wish them all the best!
