Great Hobby and Investment place. I advise going for the sports cards. They have Pokémon too. Lots to collect from the smallest purchase to the BIG ones. Helpful staff for sure.

If you collect any TCG or play, this is the spot in the gulf coast. The staff is super duper friendly and know SO much about all of the sets in store. They have Pokémon (even rare sets and graded cards) and tons of MTG cards. Do yourself a favor and at least go check them out.

I really appreciate and respect how Richard handles business. Everyone I have interacted with, are always super responsive, helpful, and just fun to deal with. I live in Mississippi, my wife and I travel 4 hours just to do business here. Prices are always reasonable on all items in his shop. Running a business the way they do, I can only imagine how far Gulf Coast Hobby will go!! I for one will always be a loyal customer. Thanks again GCH!

Big Hit Sports Card/Gulf Coast Hobby is hands down the best hobby store I’ve ever been to. Nathan, Jason, Bobby, and everyone else involved are honest and extremely fair with their pricing. Fantastic inventory of all sports memorabilia at all times. I can only assume the Pokémon side is just as great, I haven’t personally dabbled with anything other than sports. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit!

My son and I learned of Gulf Coast Hobby a couple years ago and have been going ever since because every single visit is so pleasant and fun. The staff is well educated, professional, and beyond kind to not only me, but my son as well. We love supporting Gulf Coast Hobby!! My son says, "I like all the Pokemon cards they have, the great deals, and fun things they do for people!" — if you haven't already, you've got to check them out!

I can't say enough about this place! They harbor a warm, safe environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're young, old, spry or handicapped, their staff will go out of there way to make you feel welcome. I look forward every week to playing on Friday nights.

Yet me just say this I'll keep it real simple. I Have a Dream and this dream has been chased after for many years and the closer I get to reaching my goals the harder it gets. This Last couple of years This place has by far been something that dropped out of heaven into my lap Richard and his crew have been there for me to help me succeed and has went out of his was and the crew as well to see to it that my dreams will come true. I’ve only visited this shop a few times so far and already know it’s my new home for Pokémon and tcg accessories. The staff are all super helpful and go above and beyond, I really appreciate it.

For Pokémon buyers they have a pretty cool selection of vintage packs, they have a ton of Japanese cards/bbs/single packs. Ample singles cases with graded/non cards. They even have the latest Halloween Pokémon plush, I’m glad to have found the store

Best shop around for sports cards and tcg! I’ve dealt with NBA cards for a long time and recently gotten back into Pokémon for the first time since I was a kid (1st gen Pokémon) the staff here has been a huge help with pointing me in the right direction and they have really good prices!

The guys over at Gulf Coast Hobby are beyond cool and helpful. What’s neat about this store is that it seems like each guy that works there specializes in a different area (cards, coins, and video games). They constantly strive to keep the retro games section of their store stocked and refreshed. What I love most about their store are the prices of their Nintendo 64 games—they’re all reasonably priced and have taxes included on the price tag. So if you see a game for $20, that’s exactly what you’ll be paying! Such a laid back place with a very personable and knowledge staff behind it. I highly recommend doing business with this store.

First time in the shop today and I was impressed. Nathan the owner was doing a video box break, his sports card guy immediately came over to say hi, tell me about the store and ask what I was looking for. We talked baseball and he found me some nice cards to add to my collection. Great selection of baseball and football cards, boxes and supplies. Also had Magic and video games. After Nathan was through with the breaks he came over and greeted me as well. I ended up purchasing a box and busted it in store. They helped me out with a few sleeves and a large top loader. Overall, I had a great experience.

Note: This place is open Monday through Saturday and are very much in business despite what Google might say.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING customer service! I was looking to get into TCG, so I called them up. They were very friendly and helpful over the phone. They said if I had some cards I wanted, send them a Facebook message and they’d see what they had. They responded almost immediately. I sent a list of about 40 cards and they had all but three. When I went to pick the cards up later that day, they were super helpful in trying to help me get the missing cards from others who were there. I ended up playing in a tournament that night (where I got last place), but all of the employees learned my name and were always asking if there was anything they can help me with. Free pizza was a plus too.

Besides superior customer service, prices were competitive with online card companies and a huge selection of cards, games, and collectibles. I would highly recommend for any person who wants to get into any type of card game and doesn’t know where to start. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular!

Staff are incredibly helpful. If they dont have something, they will do their best to get something for you! Very knowledgable and I got an OG xbox, 2 controllers, and a few popular games for far less than I can get them elsewhere!

Far and away the best store on the Gulf Coast. If you're looking for retro games, baseball cards, or Magic the Gathering, then this is the best store in every category. Fantastic service, perfect and consistent order delivery. 10/10

I have always had great dealings with the co-owner of this business who works the video game side of things. I’ve taken my children there for over four years now to purchase packs of Pokémon and buy used video games. They have the best prices of anyone on both, especially the video games! I have done a significant amount of bartering and selling to them, too, when I no longer had a need for my classic consoles (NES, SNES, etc.). They pay more for video games than GameStop and sell them for less. This is an objective fact. Any review that is negative appears to be about their online presence, which I cannot speak to. In terms of in-person dealings they have always been favorable with me. They have a variety of products, including sports cards and memorabilia, Pokémon and Magic cards, and retro and current video games for all systems. They also have a guy there who buys precious metals. I’d say give them a shot. I am glad to have them around. I certainly own a lot more video games because of their exceedingly competitive prices and consistent positive interactions.
