Simple, clean store with local products and great meat. Friendly service!

Found this place on a whim as I was complaining about the quality of meats in the local stores when a guy told me about Gore’s. I’m so glad he did because not only did I get a great quality of meat at a great price but everyone was beyond friendly and even let me know that I could call my orders in advance for pickup! I can’t wait to come back!

Local mom and pop butcher shop that has a wide variety of selection. We regularly get the no msg mild sausage which is excellent for breakfast and also the farm friends milk.

Have ordered pork belly several times. Always quality meat. My mother and brother also shop here and alway have a great experience. I call frequently about weird cuts and they can always help or point me in the direction of someone that can. Store staff is always awesome and very helpful when you’re inside the store! Highly recommend this place. Will be back and return often.

Wow where to start? Well I have been a customer of theirs for over 15 years. Their beef is amazing. Amazing steaks. Amazing hamburgers. All of their sausages (breakfast, bratwurst, Italian and kielbasa are great. You have to try their chicken, it actually has chicken flavor, unlike most grocery store chicken. 90 percentage of the meat in our house comes from here and we are reminded of their superior quality every time we get some meat elsewhere. On the weekends it is busy and it is not uncommon to see plates from New Jersey in the parking lot because you can taste the difference and it is worth every penny.

We have used Gore's for years. We just had a hog and lamb from the Loudoun County Fair processed. They did a fantastic job. They were very helpful at pickup and he sausage was seasoned perfectly.

I buy a lot of meat from Gores and am always shocked at how low the total price is. Premium tasting meats. Exceptional customer service.

This place is AMAZING! Due to some pretty significant health issues and severe allergies this year, I needed the freshest meat I could find and I needed it frozen as early as possible. I called Gore's to find out if they could help. They were able to, and they can freeze the meat as early as 2-3 days after it's killed! I haven't been able to find another butcher or farm market that can do this. Not only is it fresh but it's tastes fantastic. I will never buy meat from a grocery store again. There is no comparison to the difference in quality. Gore's has literally saved my life this year, and I made sure the owner knows this. Gore's has been a huge part of the improvement in my health. Quality food is so important, especially when you're dealing with some complicated health issues. Go to Gore's.. you will not regret it!!! You won't want to get your meat anywhere else. I plan to forever support this local business.

I am extremely satisfied with Gores. This is a family oriented, friendly and laid back establishment that offers fresh and delicious products.

I am thrilled with the chocolate milk. I have had many versions of chocolate milk but there version is wonderful. They sell two types of lemonade, regular and raspberry.

My brother and I can't get enough. If your passing by or live in the area please go by and check it out. There is something for everyone. I highly recommend the turkey, chop meat, I have often heard people in this area refer to that as hamburger.

I'm from Brooklyn, we say chop meat, and the cube steak. My family and I have been shopping in this establishment for a couple of months. Also, the lamb is wonderful.

I will continue patronizing Gores and I look forward to what else I can try.

It's great to shop here. The shop is pleasant, staff is super personable, and the meats are good quality & fairly priced. There's the added bonus that they carry some local items such as honey. It's definitely a hometown grocer. Would rather shop here than any chain store.

Purchased last week-- ready made meatloaf, breakfast loose sausage, boneless ribeye steak & bone in pork chops-- all delicious !! Going again next week. Friendly courteous staff willing to help with special cuts of meat as well !!

I have been going to Gore's for about 3 years now, and they have always been top notch. Their meats are fresh, service is friendly, and their locations are clean. Since March of 2020 when the covid pandemic started, I have been in 3 times. Each time the staff remained friendly even under stress. Although some of their products are either limited or frozen, the quality has remained consistent and the limits are reasonable. Additionally, their staff is extremely well put together and efficient. They worked as a team in an assembly line fashion. Orders were put together very quickly all while maintaining their friendly personas. I reccomend Gore's to anyone in the area, especially during these times.

Great selection of meats. Not sure if I’m getting the best price on all things, but many things are definitely more affordable than shopping at major market chains. I also like the variety...I can pick up bones for my dog, local eggs and milk, and even spices. Great shop, great staff!

Great fresh meats. The bacon and sausage are wonderful. Gore stew meat is the best. It takes the wife's Irish Stew another few notches up. And they have a breakfast ham that is out of this world. Everything we've ever bought there is better than the supermarkets and the price is about the same.

Always the best. Customer service is great,. Quality of meats always to shelf. I will go out of my way anytime to buy their meats... Chain stores in the area just can't touch em.

Best meat shop around. You get value for every dollar you spend. Never had anything but the best from Gore's. Plus the personnel are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can trust what they tell you.
