I loved the place before but it's even better after the remodel, they have a great selection and lots of fresh produce. The store is full of otherwise hard-to-find ingredients that will wow your dinner guests or just feel good about eating better, healthier.

It's also a great place to stop for a quick meal, their cold and hot bars have fantastic food, pair a sandwich and a salad with a drink and relax in their dining section that looks over the streetfront, or in the gazebo and tables outside.

This is a good coop. A lot of the meat and produce comes from local, organic farmers. They have a wide-enough selection of packaged/frozen items and a helpful wellness department. It has a seating section where you can eat or hang out, so there's an actual community vibe. An important component of the downtown Decorah ecosystem and a factor to consider if visiting or moving there.

Amazing people helping you, clean and organized store. They carry wonderful, healthy products. It's also wonderful stopping there for lunch at the cafe. You don't want to miss falafel Fridays!

Really good for a small town. Quality fresh food. Produce best in town. Consider becoming a shareholder for added discount. Local coop for decades now shopping here is a pure pleasure.

I love the atmosphere of this place! They do a great job of sourcing local organic produce, meats, cheeses, and more. The deli is a must-visit, especially on Fridays when "Falafel Friday" is going on.

Awesome selection, always friendly, great made-to-order food, but be ready to pay on the premium side for things.

I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to support local business and enjoy the experience of shopping at a small co-op. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but if you know and expect that going in— and remember the choices are high quality and organic— it’s a great experience. This may sound silly, but I loved that I could buy one carrot or one stalk of celery at a time, since I was only cooking for one. I wanted to do some baking while I’m here, and I loved the bulk options so I could get just what I needed without having to have a lot of wasted ingredients. I also enjoyed the selection of local wine and beer, so it was a great one-stop shop to try some local favorites. The employees were friendly and helpful, and I didn’t feel out of place here.

Other than the silly masks.

The tuna sandwiches was unexpectedly amazing! Will definitely grab a quick bite here again. Friendly staff and very clean. Well done!!! Elijah the cashier was extremely helpful.
I'd give 7 stars if they allowed me too.

An extraordinary resource in this region. Oneota Coop is the only place you can get these quality products for 70 miles, and it has local products you can't get anywhere else. Check it out.

this place is great- you can literally park on the street in front. fresh local produce and meat, great place for a coffee and something sweet to go or while you walk around. its sort of like a mini Whole Foods. very eclectic. some items are pricey and others are not.
some favorites: local brews, gluten free chocolate cake, grind your own coffee beans

This is my "go to" place for gluten-free groceries and hot food/cafe items. They have a fantastic selection, everything is well-marked and the staff is super knowledgeable. In fact, I think they have most food allergies/issues covered!

They also have an extensive health section with great essential oils, soaps, alternative medicines etc.

Their bulk food area is a great way to save some $$$, too and I love their wine/beer selection.

Oh, and, it's also BEAUTIFUL inside!

Great local grocery store with an emphasis on purchasing locally sourced and sustainable food. My visiting friends all appreciate the ability to get food suitable for special dietary requirements, including gluten free and vegan diets. Also has a great selection of Craft beer and local wines.

The epitome of your friendly neighborhood co-op. If they don't have it in store, they are always happy to try and order it especially for you. In the summer and warmer months, the community farmers market is located in the parking lot behind the building. There is seating outside so you can easily buy your groceries or lunch and enjoy them outside next to the infamous Irene mural!

Great health food store. Member owned co-op where anyone can shop. Always feel welcome here by the great staff. Kitchen classroom with great classes. Great quick meals and wonderful place to sit and eat while watching downtown. Fresh vibrent food. Cornerstone of downtown Decorah.
