Well, your options are quality, price, and speed of availability, and you get to pick 2. Harbor Freight consistently checks the "price" and "speed of availability" boxes, so they're a bit of an emergency standby for me, and for that they get my 5 stars.

Harbor freight like any other only their inventory was very low on products I was looking still. Everybody was very nice and I got what I needed.

This was a good visit they had what I wanted and because I shop enough to make being a member the lower prices definitely pay for the membership.

I love this store. There may only be one here in Salem and it's clear across town but I don’t even care. I love to shop here, I love to look around, and wish for a bit of everything and mostly always have.

Today I finally got to experience the process of having to do a return at Harbor Freight and I can only give them an A+ on that, too. I didn’t get the third degree about my reasons for returning the item like at many other places, or the feeling of having to convince a typically scowling and suspicious human barrier standing between me and the $30 I should’ve spent in first place and now really would rather have in my gas tank, that I didn’t create this fake receipt in my basement, and that everything about me and the transaction were both legit like I've grown accustomed to at other retailers around town, and that she didn’t need to scrutinize anything closer trying to find some reason to deny my mission. She was quick and sweet and I wish every retail employee had a few lessons with her.

Molly took the time to understand what tools we needed for the job and gave professional recommendations. She was honest and up front. Polite and kind! She also hooked us up and was able to get us a few extra savings.

Israel was quick to help us test out some lug nut wheel keys before deciding to purchase or not. Didn't end up working, but those are two SUPER helpful people we had the pleasure of getting to know.

Great place clean friendly staff. I go mainly for AA batteries and instead of 22 bucks for Duracell I get thunderbolt edge for bout 7 bucks last just as long and deals can be so good recently got to packs for the price of 1.

Hey it's HF. I've been happy with most of the tools I've bought. I'd say 99 percent satisfaction. I know the snapon snobs turn their noses up on HFT. But I believe you get your money's worth here.

Manager Kim deserves a raise, she was very nice and helped me with everything I needed.

The prices are unbeatable and more importantly they value and honor their customers. I was walking by and saw they were open and I asked when were they gonna close? The response was in five minutes and I was perfectly fine with going about my night and began to walk away when they stopped me and asked what I need? I told the two staff members and just like that they grabbed them for me and I was out in 3 minutes. Wonderful company!

Love Harbor Freight. A great place to shop for all kinds of needed tools to occasionally use without the huge sticker price. Their batteries AA and AAA aren't bad either. For the price they last a good while. The batteries don't last as long as Duracell, but Duracell is also twice as expensive as the Harbor Freight batteries.

I dont regularly shop here, so my review is based on infrequent visits, and far as I know this is a well kept small store full of all your less than popular or known "house" brand tools at very low prices compared to thier big name counterparts. Staff is always courteous and helpful yet can be too involved in one customer leaving you in need of assistance. Not too many registers available, so cashiers can noticeably seem overwhelmed. Besides all that I would definitely recommend this place if your in need of various tools and your on a budget. Just keep in mind some of the items here quality may be as low as thier price.
