The food was fabulous. I had Manpar vegetable soup and baked carp. Both were great; the fish was some of the best that I've had anywhere. Service was prompt and attentive.

Only 5m walk from the (very) touristic old city of Khiva, but such a nice and peaceful place. We had a tasty lunch with a fresh beetroot and coleslaw salad and some Uzbek specialties that were very well prepared. Service was really nice too! The prices were also a lot cheaper compared to the tourist traps in the old city.

This was a recommendation from the hotel we are staying at. We LOVE this restaurant. Affordable and reasonable prices, the food is delicious, location is only a short walk from the old city and the staff are very friendly. We’ve been twice already and will definitely go again before leaving.

One of the best places in Khiva. We’d been there two times in a row. We had plov, grilled fish and shashlik. Everything was delicious, freshly cooked. Reasonable prices and amazing personnel.

The best restaurant of the touristic part of Khiva. And I have tried lots of restaurants, so I can make a fair judgement. The food was of very high quality, which is rare in the touristic part of Khiva. They made some mistakes with the order (I'm a vegetarian and received meat dishes while I told them I don't eat meat). Afterwards they surprised me by offering me free tea and a delicious dessert and charging nothing at all for all the dishes and drinks I had😃.
I never experienced this high level of service in all of Uzbekistan (And I've been in multiple cities), hats off Khiva Moon! Thanks so much!🙏🙏🙏

Easily the best restaurant in Khiva. Vegetarian options on request, very kind staff, and beautiful place. Does not feel as touristy as the restaurant inside the city and definitely less rushed. Great option, we'll be back again.

A bit more expensive but good food and setting, they kindly served us late in the evening at 11pm after returning from the Aral Sea and all other places were closed! Great service from our server Nilufar :)

Our guide Ali took us to his family's restaurant and oh boy it was delicious! The green noodles was definitely our favourite dish and we had the best green tea with lemon ever here so don't miss out on that! It's a little bit outside the old town in Khiva but so worth it. You can sit outside on the traditional benches and just relax and enjoy the food and surroundings. Highly recommend!

Spacious court with a comfortable vibe. The food is prepared to order, which sits particularly well with the salads. Prices are adapted to tourist budgets, but still very affordable in western terms. Perfect spot if you want to escape the buzz of the old city for a relaxed meal.

This place is, to me, the best place to eat in Khiva. It's a family run business who cook great food. Must come.

At least one authentic Uzbec restaurant in Khiva serving house made food and charging decent prices!!!

We were amazed by the flavours of the food. We had Plov and Savath Oshi... and their soups...all super tasty.

This Business is run by a family with sisters in the kitchen. and the charming Mohammed managing the shift of professional waiters.

All staff were friendly, discreet and attentive. Plus they speak rather a good English.

The outside dining option is romantic thanks to their well maintained outdoor setting.

All in all... 5 stars!! and they really deserve it!

By the way, Mohammed speaks a perfect English and works as a tourist guide in the old city when he's not busy at the restaurant... so if you need a good tour...

Better prices and better food than within the walls. The pumpkin soup was really good!

I ate here in July - while the restaurant was completely desolate (off season) I recommend it so much more than any of the restaurants inside the old city’s walls. The manti (dumplings) were the best I had in Uzbekistan - so flavourful.

Prices are real, not like inside of old city. Food is good, stuff is super friendly and gentle. 3 minutes walking from old city gates. Cats included 😂

The is one of the best place for the vegetarians to have vegetable plov or egg plov. Taste is very good and the restaurant is very spacious, quite and calm.
It has both indoor and outdoor sitting which I liked a lot.
One of their waitresses is very cute and she speaks very good English.
She also suggested me some of the dishes as I am vegetarian and the dishes were delicious.
It is also at a walking distance from the itchan Kalan main entry gate so you can have a delicious meal after the tiring exploration of the walled city.
The best part is it’s pocket friendly for budget backpackers as well as for general tourists.
