Tea House Bir Gumbaz

Just stopped in one chilly morning for a coffee with a friend. The manager was a friendly woman and it was a cozy atmosphere to sit and chat. It was also one of the few places open in the morning during the winter in the old city.

We were here yesterday and today also. The food specially dessert is so yummy and the coffee is too good. And the main thing is the ambience and decorations! It's just wonderful. Host is very kind,gentle and helpful.
From the shop I bought a shrug also 🙂

Vegetarian was available and the rice was good. The assorted Ravioli was nice. The ambience with the backdrop of the Khiva Old city and Minaret was very pleasant. At night when the Old city is lit up, it is a very good atmosphere to eat dinner at this Tea House

I enjoyed a hot black tea and a dessert on the patio today.
This evening I came back for the eggplant salad which is lightly breaded, pumpkin soup and of course some baklava with a cup of black tea.

Having a nice breakfast I felt the local taste of Khiva. Bir Gumbaz is the place for good meal especially sitting among the history of Khiva and open sky museum gave me more felling than i have ever had in my life. I highly recommend to others who would like to feel same felling as i did.👍

Very good food and service. I had gumma from here which is a traditional dish and was very tasty and fresh. Nice staff too, very helpful.

Hidden gem in Khiva! Bir Gumbaz is a beautiful, cozy restaurant just around the corner from the information center. They have a wide variety of Uzbek dishes (try the pumpkin gamma and the dilaman) but they also serve homemade sweets and lots of types of tea and coffee. They are extremely friendly and speak perfect English.

Excellent tea House, there are 10 types of tea, coffee, sweets♥ included ice coffee and ice capuchino 😆😆 I will invite you definitely come this place😃

This restaurant was located near the Green Minorate. The food is really delicious. Service is high quality.

Great little coffee shop just beside the Kalta minaret. Fantastic coffee and handmade cakes by the lovely owner were the best in Khiva (particularly the Khiva specialty -paklama).
