The 19th cent. Holy Trinity Church dominates the pedestrian Pirin St in Bansko center.
You'll easily spot it by its bell tower - the highest bldg in town.
Access is through the courtyard and modest exterior hides stunning beauty inside - terrific iconostasis by the altar with many beautiful frescoes around.
Really must do when in Bansko.

A must visit... the frescoes and icons are wonderful..The church itself has a very unique atmosphere. Unfortunately cameras are not allowed

Nice old church well maintained, close to the old town and the center. Beautiful paintings,
its open everyday, must visit if you are around.

Another truly impressive church in this region. Quite spacious with the front completely being filled from floor to ceiling with holy portraits. One of the biggest chandeliers I've ever seen dominates the middle of the church. They're adding new paintings to the ceiling right now. The original painter (17th century) was rewarded with a house, now known and worth visiting as Velyava House.
