Electricbike Costa Rica

Wonderful experience.. The place is a little bit off the beaten path so to speak because it is a person's home in a neighborhood, but the owner was awesome and gave us 2 bikes for 2 days for $120 total. It came out to 25 hours. We biked probably 30 miles or so. Get up to "The Lookout" if you can. You can for sure do it on electric as opposed to regular bike. Bikes were in good shape. Highly recommend.

There guys were awesome! Their service and deals are unbeatable! Highly recommend! I rented a bike for 3 weeks when they were closed for the season and they came and delivered a bike from SJ and took great care of me!

Franck and Eric were great! We had different levels of experience in the group but they handled it perfectly. And the bikes were fantastic! Brand new and in perfect working order. I highly recommend this.

Fantastic experience! These electric bikes are fun and easy to operate. Our tour included spectacular views of Playas del Coco and Playa Ocotal. Franck, the owner, is very helpful and a great tour guide. Even if you haven't ridden a bike in years (like me), you'll thoroughly enjoy this tour.

A truly great experience
I wanted to try electric mountain bike and get out in the woods/ jungle, the trails exceeded my expectations
Eric my guide knew the area very well and spoke English well, Frank the shop keep was knowledgeable about the bikes and the area.
I wish to purchase a bike at home.
You do need to know how to mountain bike as some of the trails are a bit technical.
At 68 years of age I could not have managed a standard bike, the electric assist made it possible.

We did Coco to las pilas waterfall tour. So beautiful! Franck was great to work with via email from time of booking. He patiently answered all our questions. And when we were on tour patiently trained us on bikes and customized tour to our ability. We went through river bed which was a “stretch” adventure for us. Franck was so good about when we were hesitant and slightly pushed us. We felt so good about pushing safely beyond our comfort zone. A wonderful Costa Rican adventure. Highly recommend Franck.

My experience was not good.. My husband's bike was ok but my ebike had all sort of issues.. The owner was very nice and helpful to a point..The first two days we did some 15 km and more ..my husband had no issue but my ebike would not change gear properly which made it hard to go up hills..I had to walk some of them..the gears kept slipping..we contacted the owner and right away he came and got the bike to fix but we rented for 5 days and we lost one full afternoon.. My seat was broken and was held with tape which in this extreme heat kept sticking to my short/pants..not at at comfortable..Once the gear were fix I got a flat ..again the owner was quick to come at our rescue but than the gear issue came back ..this was the fourth day we did not make it to our destination and we turned around..I could not even change bike with my husband as the seat was to high and we could not bring it down..I was hoping for some kind of compensation as to rent these they are expensive..So if you plan on renting make sure your ebike is in good working condition..
