Hadn't been in a while but had food and drinks last night when family was in town. Great food and drinks at a very reasonable price for its incredible location right on the beach in Coco.
They have some new new tables and chairs towards the interior and the beach style loungers closer to the beach path. Waitresses spoke pretty good English. Will definitely go back

Came into Tortuga Bar just before a massive thunderstorm hit. What an awesome.place. Despite the deluge of rain, that flooded the whole place, I had THE BEST Caipirinha I've had since arriving in Costa Rica! Plus the Fiesta Platter was beyond delicious. Despite all the rain and the flood the servers and bartender kept going. Even took their shoes off and walked on the gravel! This hidden jem was filled to the brim with locals and tourists combined. Have to say one of the funnest afternoons we've had in a restaurant!!

I had a nice experience at this place. Beachfront, sandwiched between cheesy restaurants. Nice, relaxed environment. Very nice server that was patient with me, and enjoyed the food - I ordered the vegan bowl

A relaxed atmosphere, overlooking the ocean, while drinking cold, well priced beer! The mozzarella was a great snack to hold you over for a later dinner.

Came after sunset, perhaps a bit early for local dinner time. Food was great ,service on point. Atmosphere, was tough to get a full sense as it was nearly empty, but slow season and there was a home football game on.

Edit: December 2020. Can this place get any better! Wonderful meal, Miguel is the nicest person. Dinner was wonderful, the Red Snapper was wonderful. I can't wait to try breakfast after my walk on the beach.

Dilurimg my visit to Costa Rica we went in the town and stopped by it was a nice chill vibe I ordered churrasco plate it was really good. The server could have been a little nicer she wasn't inviting at all but other than that it was really nice.

We liked it! Became the intermittent study spot. Great drink prices(get the watermelon), great food(get the octopus), and their specials are worth the slightly higher prices. Service is consistently good and cheerful and they all had a knack for languages. Although they’re patient when you’re trying to practice your Spanish

Stay away from the pasta, a friend of mine got sandwich ham and kraft cheese Alfredo....but you already know that is the Costa Rica standard if you want that kind of food. I won’t let that affect my rating...don’t get anything that says cheese in Costa Rica unless it’s their breakfast cheese.

Great bar with that "beach vibe" atmosphere* Right on the Beach Boardwalk with great views in all directions! Awesome staff and a righteous menu of drinks and dishes to choose from. No wait to be seated and it's a short wait to order and be served!

Beautiful setting and nice cocktails!

Neat little bar off the beaten path with excellent love music and drinks. Seriously, the house talent is incredible on stage. Check out the video I uploaded. The bar isn't extensively stocked, but it has the important stuff with reasonable prices and generous pours.

Best bar so far for service . Attentive staff . Good music . Good vibe . Great place to see the sunset . Need Prosecco and dark beers .

Delicious drinks, a laid back and friendly vibe, and the ceviche is yummy 😋. I highly recommend!

Best pina coloda and Bloody Mary on the beach!!! And half the price of all the other bars. Great location with a lovely view!
