Vandará Explore Costa Rica's Nature

This was a very fun day! All the activities are planned with a guide. So you ride horses up to the Zipline platform and take the zip line down. Then you move to the cultural experience. Afterwards, you go down the really fun waterslide. And down to the springs and waterfall. All of the staff was amazing, too many to name as we interacted with a lot of them. And they were all so caring and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We did the full adventure experience and felt it was very well worth the price. We had a great day with the staff at Vandará. Eber y Alejandro were awesome guides. After the activities, my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hot springs and waterfall for the rest of the day. Definitely recommend

The hot springs were delightful after a few days of long hikes. The waterfall was the perfect backdrop for our soak and then a mud bath. We didn’t do the more adventurous activities. Lunch was delicious!

We had a great time! The staff are super nice! We loved the zip lines and thermal springs in the canyon. Two of us got minor injuries on the water slide so proceed with caution there. Make sure to sit up the whole time and wear the elbow pads.

My boyfriend & I had such a beautiful experience! Relaxing by the hot spring in the middle of the forest was Incredible!

We enjoyed the little coffee & sugar cane tasting aswell!! Shout out to our guide Damien. Great guy & great laughs!

Great value for the price of admission. The guides were very attentive and hospitable. The horses, water slide, hot springs, mud, waterfall, zip lines and food were all worth the money paid. Thank you for a pleasant day

What a fabulous, fun-filled day!! The explorer pass was definitely worth every penny. My husband and I had a blast and Manuel was the best tour guide!! We really enjoyed zip lining, the water slide, hot springs and horse back riding. The cultural experience was informational with delicious snacks and coffee. Lunch was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore adventure in Costa Rica!!

This place was hands down worth every penny. As soon as we arrived, the staff made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They have locker rooms with masterlocks to keep all of your belongings safe. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes and just bring your swim gear and sandals to change into later. We did the horseback riding first. One member of our group had never been on a horse before and they made sure to give him extra instructions and attention throughout the entire ride. We then did the ziplines which were truly so amazing! The views were absolutely breathtaking and the staff made sure that everyone had a blast and were safe. The culture experience and lunch were amazing as well. I've done tours and things before where lunch was included and it's usually nothing to write home about, but my entire family agreed that this was one of the best meals we had the entire trip. We then went back to the locker rooms to change so that we could do the jungle waterslide (which was also such a blast!), mudbath, and hotsprings. The ladies in the hotsprings area were so sweet and accommodating. There was even a swim up bar in the main hot spring! Throughout the entire day, we got to see so much wildlife that the staff happily pointed out to us! This was my favorite day of our week in Costa Rica. Highly recommend!👍

Vandara was a wonderful experience!!! Definitely recommend when you come to Costa Rica! We enjoyed every bit, make sure to take advantage of the full time of the park. I wish we could have stayed in the hot springs longer. Lunch was delicious, very filling! The team Manny and Marcos were amazing, super kind and provided reassurance on the zipline. They convinced my mother 69 to do ziplining for the first time ever! The views on the zipline were magnificent!Top tier excursion in Costa Rica! Kuddos to the team! We had a blast!

Super fun. Very informative staff. Great hot springs. A fair amount of construction going on for some very cool improvements in the very near future. Reasonable drink prices at the swim up bar. Great selection of mixed drinks and beer. The beer was ice cold. The staff was really the icing on the cake, just wonderful people. You will fall in love with the people of Costa Rica here if you have not already.

I can’t say anything bad about this place! We did an excursion booked through Amstar and I would recommend all friends or family to visit this location. It’s was nice to have a local experience and with great food and people. Everyone was friendly and attentive! We did the zip line, water slide , horseback riding and hot spring. The location has a beautiful waterfall and THANK YOU DAMIEN!!! Damien was our tour guide and he even gave us a chance to stop on the side of the road for some breathing taking photos! Damien’s knowledge of the area and customer service was superb! We couldn’t be more happier with our experience.

We did the all day package, which included cultural tour, horseback riding ziplining, waterslide, and hot springs. I can't say enough about this place and their amazing staff. Our family had so much fun and would do this again in a heartbeat! If you are nervous about ziplining, the staff is so knowledgeable/experienced and puts you at ease immediately.

This was such a fun day. We drove to Vandara, less than an hour’s drive from the Liberia area. Right from the get-go we received a personalized welcome and one-on-one service to walk us through the events. This was a great value for the money - horseback ride, zip lines, lunch, water slide, hot springs and mud bath, and then a couples massage next to the beautiful waterfall. Shout out to Our personal guide Manuel who helped me to overcome my zip line fear, and fully enjoy the experience. He was so knowledgeable and attentive; he is a surely an asset to this company. Kathy and Eileen were the best when it came time to end our amazing day with our massages. The staff did not rush us through activities, and allowed us to move through at our own pace. We have been to CR a number of times and this rates at the top of our list for fun experiences.

What a fantastic day! GREAT value! Horseback ride to the top of the zip course, 8 great zips, then a quick education of the local sugar cane and coffee, a outrageous (not for the faint of heart) water slide, GREAT lunch, and a then relaxing rest in the thermal pool with swim-up bar, river with waterfall, (massages available) all for under $70pp!!!!
Perhaps THE best valued day we have ever had from Europe to the Caribbean to Central America!
Staff is amazing and it’s a well oiled machine!!! Smooth smooth smooth…we didn’t want to leave at 4pm! Plan to arrive at 9 so you too can enjoy all they have to offer.

Fantastic experience! One of our favorite stops in Costa Rica. The zip lines were beautiful and fun and the guides were great. Horse back, zip lines, volcanic mud bath and hot springs, and a lively lunch and cultural tour! Just a perfect day and a great price.

We had the best time on this tour! The zip lining was incredible. The views are amazing and there are 8 different lines. So much fun! The horseback riding was great as well as the coffee/culture portion. The hot springs and waterfall are stunning. I could have spent all day in that part alone! The waterslide is a lot of fun and very refreshing at the end of the day. Anyone wearing bikini bottoms or a speedo bathing suit, be sure to bring shorts for the slide. They give you this thing to wear, that they call a diaper, and it helps, but still slides up and can damage your suit. It is a VERY fast slide and harder on the older people (ie. people 40 and up), but still fun. We had Manny as our tour guide and he was the BEST. All the staff are amazing, though, so be sure to bring money for tipping. If you are staying at one of the hotels by the beach, be prepared for a full day as the drive is 1.5 hours and there is always traffic on the way home. But again, it’s worth the drive!

This was one of the best days in Costa Rica for us. We did the explorer pass and well worth the money being able to do all these activities in one day! Very well organised and the staff where all amazing! Loved the zip ling and hot springs the best even in the torrential rain!

Very nice customer service. Zip lining was so fun and the massages felt so good. We also enjoyed the hot springs and the food was yummy (we had chicken and pork with rice, salad, mashed potatoes and beans). The hot mud bath wasn't necessarily a bath. We rubbed on warm mud from a big bowl, stood there as it dried and then washed it off. I was expecting to sit and submerge my body but the experience was ok, other than that everything was great. They also provided coffee and snacks at the end. I will definitely come back again.

We visited during a shoulder month, early November. Aside from a few other small groups, felt like we had the place to ourselves which was great. The cultural tour gives you a chance to understand the work and the process of harvest and extraction. The ziplines and views were great, as everything is lush and green right now. Hot springs were refreshing. Waterslide is exhilarating, really get moving on that thing.

Fantastic place! Easy to communicate via WhatsApp and easy to get to. Once we got there we were helped by the wonderful front desk staff who helped us recommend the activities. We first did horseback riding, then a very safe zip line with local guides and then we went to a waterslide. If you are 200 pounds plus I would advise you to think about the waterslide as you will go down quite fast. Then we went in for a lunch. The lemonade was delicious! Then after lunch we relaxed at a hot spring. The staff at the bar,zip line and front desk all went above and beyond!
