As an angkringan, this is one of the best angkringan i've ever visited. They sell various of side dish and also the main dish such as rice and traditional porridge. You can choose the side dishes you like to accompany your choice. I ordered Jahe Kencur Jeruk as my drink, and i like it bcs it tasted so traditional (you know what i mean hopefully)

Lovin' this place! I love the uniqueness, service, and the food and drinks (of course). This is a very traditional and crowded place. They serve food from solo and around it. Including : kikil, pecel, paru, usus, tempe, tahu, babat, ceker, etc. And i love all of it! The drinks are hot and very nice too. The best warung! U must try it.

Traditional eatery serving common Javanese menus with a lot of herbal drinks choices. They don't open branches elsewhere so it usually have a lot of customers, but no worries, you can always get a place to sit.

The best Wedang Jahe (traditional ginger drink) I ever taste, I try their Ginger+Orange+Galangal (kencur), very refreshing, they use traditional ginger plant from kampoeng (traditional village), ginger taste is strong, although they only crush the fresh ginger and pour a very hot water which boiled with woods (not gas) using traditional kettle. Somehow it works perfectly. Their food also delicious, i always visit this place whenever i am around Solo. They have a bigger area now with more table and sitting area.

Simply the best. Its located just beside the road soo its soo easy to find. What about the parking ? Well just follow the parking man hehe. So this eatery is based on truth. Why is that so ? Because we only pay what we remembered like what you eat or what you drink sooo remember everything you take 😀.... well the foods are so delicous we can select rice or poriddge and there are a lot of topping like sausage. Eggs. Tofu and other local foods. And the drink is just the best you just have to order it and by 2 or 3 minutes it will be served in front of you. Oh yes dont forget to look for the seat first before you order if you dont wanna end up standing while enjoying your meal hehe. Well there is a bathroom to take showers and also 4 toilets to add up they also have 1 mosque inside. So Food 5/5 drinks 5/5 facility 4.5/5. Come and enjoy your meal here

I love the tumpang porridge so much. Besides, the bandeng and oseng-oseng are also food that I like.

I will totally be back again to this place when i travel there.. Delicious food and a unique and funny owner! You shoukd try their JKC! And their variety of satay.. Love it!!

Enjoying our simple yet delicious kare for our breakfast at this place. We were heading back to Solo from Kemuning at about 7.30 am. We were hungry and suddenly my wife spotted a pretty busy breakfast place so we decided to stop and give it a try. It was pretty busy at that time. We ordered kare and surprised to find that it was delicious. The place was clean. Staff were fast and friendly. The price was cheap as well.

It's nice place to enjoy some tradisional food and drink. Hick Gaul was great. You can choose some menu and various drink. And the price was very affordable. Will visit again.

It is, especially in Solo, a traditional restaurant. It's menus are served in a spacious table. There are main courses, javanese traditional cuisine, such as opor, tumpang, lodeh, and the signature dish: terik. But I recommend you to try bubur lemu, the rice porridge is so delicate with the sambel goreng...so yummy. There are many side dishes too, such as tahu, tempe, and various of sate. If you visit there, you should try their signature beverage: "JKJ" jahe-kencur-jeruk, the called it OBH, obat batuk hitam, black cough syrup...,😁
And there is something special in this place, the bartender, he is so very friendly, always say things, the item they sell, with a rhyme words in javanese... Please do visit here if you were around Solo, always remember they closed in Tuesdays.

The most attractive "Hik a.k.a Wedangan" around Solo Raya.

Pak Mul -the owner of this Hik- is very humble, funny and attractive person whom become "the maskot" of this place.
He always try to makes offering for his products with some funny tagline in Javanese Language.

Just like the others "Wedangan" He sells various traditional drinks like "aneka wedang jahe", susu, teh with many Snack foods like "aneka gorengan" , sate kikil, baceman tahu tempe, sate telur puyuh. But we can find various traditional menu as main course i.e bubur sambel tumpang, sego jangan ndeso, lodeh, opor and last but not least instant noodle 🍜

Never missed to visit this place after your trip from Tawangmangu goes back to Solo

Great place to hangout. Excellent food and good variety of hot drinks. Friendly owners and staff. Worth the drive for sure. Just relax with ginger drinks and angkringan foods and your night will be wonderful.

Its a very good place to hangout with family. Have a lot of food choises and drink choises. If you like indonesian taste drink you have to try the jahe drinks here.

The owner is also kind and likes to throw jokes on customers so it is even more enjoyable when we about to order food here.

It is like 1 hour away from my home but I am like to visit this place at least once a month :)
