Sop Iga dan Pecel Bu Ugi

A place that made me recall my childhood memories. The food is cheap, plenty of parking spaces across the street. I got Sop Iga and Nasi Pecel. The taste of the food represents the local culinary very well, which I really loved. It’s been around for decades, for good reasons of course.

One word: DELICIOUS!!
The soup is clean, clear but very flavorful.
Perfect to enjoy in cooler weather in Tawangmangu. We got there when they were almost closed for the day so they ran out of sambal condiments. Go earlier if you want to enjoy to the fullest. Service was fast. Price was right. Definitely will be back when in the area.

The service is super fast, no more than 5mins if it's not crowded.
The hot tea also good. The original taste of Javanese Tea.

This restaurant is a must visit if you’re in Tawangmangu. It is famous for its oxtail soup (Sop Buntut) and Pecel (mixed veggies with peanut sauce). Even though this restaurant is usually crowded and sometimes can be hard to find a parking place, especially during weekend, the service is fast. Definitely one of the best food in the area!

So far its the best beef rib soup I’ve ever had. Clear soup though very tasty full of flavour. Its heart warming.

You definitely should come and taste their oxtail soup with rice! It's a perfect combination to warm you from the cold weather outside. One of the best oxtail soup I've ever tasted in my life, it's that legendary! They also serve many other dishes which also have a great taste. For dessert, you can order Carica Papaya here.

Great foods, good drinks, good places, almost instant service (You don't have to wait for your order). It's kinda full during lunchtime, be prepared to find an empty seat AND empty parking space because this place has almost no parking space. Oh, and this place has WiFi too. YOU have to try the Sop Iga.

A little bit on the salty side, but meat portion was generous and service was speedy so we give this place a 5 star.

Restaurant with a delicious beef soup menu. The soup broth tastes good, tender beef, and served while hot. You should try it when visiting Tawangmangu. One more recommendation worth a try is "pecel" menu, it tastes great. The location is quite strategic, close to the Tawangmangu waterfall area, but there are small parking area in the edge of street. There are plenty of clean toilets and there are 2 floors for dinning area. Price is quite affordable and worth it with the taste. Please enjoy.

Really love the soup! The meat was so soft and tender. It will fall off when you bite it. The flavour itself was soft, no too strong and very delicious. Considering the cold air in the area, this is a perfect spot and food to warm your body. Definitely will come here again.

I was told that this place serve the best beef ribs and oxtail soup. The soup is clear with generous meat (and bones), suitable to sip in cold mountain climate of tawangmangu. The meat is tender and lean.

Oxtail soup for 35k incl rice. The oxtal is so tender and juicy. Service was so fast. They also offer garang asem and pecel but we only tried the oxtail soup. Definitely will come back! 🙂🥰

Easily best ox tail soup in Tawangmangu!! It's so worthy

Highly recommended, cheap price but one of the best oxtail soup. When it come to weekend, this restaurant is very crowded. I love how the vegetables still fresh and the meat are veryyy tender. They sell many of traditional snacks too. It is perfect to come here with family.

We love it here for the nostalgic moments we had while staying in Tawangmangu. Ibu Ugi Nasi Pecel is legendary and a must try if you visit here. The oxtail soup also really good if you need to get something piping hot in the cold weather. Parking is only available on the street.

This everlasting diner serves best oxtail and rib soup, and also Javanese salad (pecel). The price is very affordable. You can't find the list of menu, but the waitress will patiently ask your order. The owner by herself will hand the food to the waitresses. She is now 80-s.

The restaurant with a menu of mainstay Sop Buntut and Pecel with a taste that inspires the taste and atmosphere of a comfortable place. . , suitable for family meals. The location in the Tawangmangu Tour area is cool and beautiful to be complete already atmosphere and taste, comfortable at heart. . , comfortable in the stomach so complete our happiness.
