Absolutely incredible stay! This place is cozy and equipped with everything we needed. The highlight was witnessing the Aurora at 8:30 pm – a magical experience! Cooking risotto under the stars and Northern lights was beyond imagination. Would definitely return given the chance.

Stayed here July 2023. When I booked it, the pictures of the views seemed impossible, but when we were arrived I was shocked to see that this little cabin really does stare directly across at Kirkjufell - it’s a view that can’t be beat! There is everything you need for a few days away - a little kitchen with 2 burners, microwave, coffee pot and sink. A bathroom with shower, and chairs in front of the large window staring at the mountain. The owners are super kind and provide lots of information in advance, and their dogs and cat are super friendly and welcomed us/came to visit. It was the perfect place to stay for exploring the peninsula.

Wonderful house near great attractions. Host was amazing. Had everything needed for a family of four. Great walking path along the coast and amazing view of Kirkjufell from the back porch!

Stayed in July 2022. Clean and modern cabins (there are two on the property). We stayed one night on our trip around the country, but this is definitely a place we would’ve liked to stay at least a second night! The check in process was very easy. We were there on a cloudy/rainy day, but the sunset did peak through the clouds.

Location: Perfect location to enjoy one of the most popular sites (Kirkjufell). You literally wake up to the sight of the mountain. We stopped here along our counter-clockwise trip on the Ring Road. The cabins aren’t directly in town, so we had to drive a couple of minutes to have dinner, but you are walking distance to Kirkjufell/Kirkjufoss, meaning you can take a stroll when all the tourists are gone.

Amenities: Free parking, right by the cabins. Towels and linens provided. Washroom had soap, shampoo, and hair dryer. Kitchen had small stove top, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, utensils, plates, and some basic food items (spices, pasta, coffee, coffee mate, etc.).

Stayed in March 2023, I use this opportunity to share first pictures of this unique guesthouse covered with snow. We greatly enjoyed the stay in the cabin with endless horizon and unique view on the Kirkjufell mountain. If you were searching for an inner peace, here is the place where you'll find it.

The only thing I regret is only booking one night. We would love to go back here for our next trip to Iceland.

We have definitely saved the best for last: After 9 days of travelling and exploring this magical country we checked into this beautiful cabin for our last night in Iceland. It was the cherry on top. The view of the unique, peaceful landscape, the lovely and well-chosen interior, the sheep and horses around and last but surely not least picture perfect nothern lights - it was one for the books. Thank you so much for having us! We wish all your guests to come an experience equally as amazing as ours.

AmazIng studio apartment. The location is superb. The view is superb. The hosting couple are wonderful. Any of these things on their own are noteworthy in their own right. The cabin has everything you need for your stay and more room than we expected! We would stay here again for sure

Beautiful and cozy cottage with a perfect view of mount Kirkjufell. Small kitchen, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. Nice hosts as well! We had pretty bad weather with rain and rather heavy wind. But we felt comfy in the small cottage.

Prachtig huisje aan voet van de Kirkjufell, voorzien van een heerlijk zithoekje dat perfectie mogelijkheden biedt voor het genieten van het uitzicht en het spotten van het noorderlicht. De eigenaren zijn uiterst aardig en behulpzaam, en hun kat en geiten kwamen ons zelfs 's avonds even gedag zeggen bij het huisje. Dikke aanrader dus!

Eine Tolle Unterkunft!
Wir haben dort 2020 eine Nacht verbracht. Die Häuschen verfügen über eine kleine eingerichtete Küche und Bad und eine großes Doppelbett. Es war alles sehr sauber.
