Sauðárkrókur Campground

Great campsite, quite affordable (1,750 ISK per person for the first night, 1,550 for subsequent nights), they also offer discounts if you stay in other campsites of the same "network".
Well equipped, everything was clean. The shower was spacious and nice, although there was only one.
There is a washing machine and dryer as well.

No kitchen but great facilities, probably the best shower and bathroom of the multiple campgrounds we have stayed at so far in our counterclockwise ring road trip.

Nice campsite with very clean bathrooms and shower. There are sinks outside and even a washing machine and dryer available. We had a very good night and the owners are super friendly and helpful :)

Super clean facilities with hot water for dishes outside as well as showers and bathrooms. Also has laundry and owners are very nice and accommodating. Wasn’t too busy either.

Campsite in the centre of a quiet town. Very quiet mid-August, lots of spaces and quote flat. Clean and modern amenities block with separate men's, ladies and handicap bathrooms. Two toilets and one shower in each. Shower (very nice and hot) costs 250 ISK. Washer and dryer facilities which are 500 ISK each. 1,300 ISK per person, 800 ISK for electricity. There is an honesty box for payments or you can pay the owners when they make rounds or pay over the phone and PayPal. Definitely worth a stay if passing through the area.

nice camping ground in the middle of the village. clean and new bathroom facilities. the owner was friendly. you should make a beatiful beach walk or hike up the mountains!

Small but really nice campsite in a beautiful town. Great staff-the same owner as Varmahlid campsite. I really recommend those campsites to everyone!

Bästa campingen som vi varit på de senaste två månaderna på Island. Otroligt rent och fräscht i servicehuset. Allt vi behövde fanns på plats_- el, varmvatten mm mm. Hit kommer vi gärna igen!

Tolle Campingplatz, sauber und gepflegt. Ganz nette Bedienung. Direkt neben Schwimmbad. Zu empfehlen!

Modern eingerichtette geräumige Zimmer mit moderner Dusche und WC. Zum Abendessen gab es ein 3-Gängemenü, das sehr schmackhaft war.

Campeggio tranquillo ed erboso bagni puliti e docce calde ottimo veramente!
