Fish and Chips Siglufjörður. LOCAL FOOD

A wonderful Icelandic fish and chips. If you're driving through town, don't hesitate to stop. Service was fast and efficient. Likely the best fish and chips I have ever eaten, all with the quaint city and lovely view of the fjord.

I could give 10 out of 5 stars and it still wouldn't be enough. Swift preparation, swift service. We had a plate of fish n chips and a seafood pizza. It was delicious and delightful. Hákon is an amazing person. Had a great conversation with him during our meal. If you're heading towards Siglufjordur, don't miss this place.

It's a lovely cosy place and the fish is nice and fresh. Worth stopping over to eat as you are passing through. And the sauce has an Icelandic twist to it. That made the taste local. Love the food and place.

My family and I had some of the best tasting fish and chips in Iceland here. The fish used had probably been swimming around not long before we ate it.
The fish was fresh.
The crust was crispy.
Excellent overall.

One of the best Fish&Chips, very nice and delicious cod. Fresh and super tasty. Very friendly staff who also offered us some samples of typical and traditional Icelandic meat. You should definitely stop by when you’re around. Highly recommended. Looking forward to be back.

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS i have ever tried. 😋 litteraly felt 0 butter only fish which was lmelting in the mouth. All sauces served with it were home made. Regret by now haven't tried the rest of the food or atleast got take away as were living town.

If you want the best fried fish you’ve never had, go here! Get the cocktail sauce. If you’re in a group, share a fish pizza, it was epic as well! The fish was cooked absolutely perfectly, not overdone on the batter, and just perfectly flaking cod… seriously good!

We also took two styles home to bake later, both were top notch!!

What a delicious treat! The fish & chips were amazing, the beer was cold and refreshing and the host was friendly and happy to share cool info about the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

Delicious fish pizza and fish soup. Both the pizza and fish have cod and shrimp, plenty of it and perfectly cooked. It doesn't taste 'fishy', the pizza crust is great, the soup is made with potato and onions and everything is perfectly seasoned.

Super tasty fish & chips, nice big serving, friendly staff, not expensive, incredibly fresh... I mean, can you get fish more fresh than at the fish monger at the seaside??
