Feels like home, clean, our rooms had good space, the beds were great and we slept well, the bathrooms were nice. The kitchenette was good for the breakfast we took with us. The grocery store/gas station/tourist attraction swimming pool/little old town/two restaurants/museum is just next door. It was very peaceful and nice when we stayed there. We got great value for the price. Just check on opening hours of places before you come, realize that Hofsos is a little village. We could not be happier, thank you for a very lovely stay.

Great little spot to spend a night. The location is amazing, mere meters from the cliffs and ocean. Nice host, good bed, good value and a overall pleasant stay.

Highly recommend this guesthouse, The room was very nice and clean, with everything you need. There is no breakfast there but across the street there is a convenient store with everything you need to make your own breakfast in the kitchen of the house that equipped with all the rest.

Amazing location, right next to the infinity pool and opposite the gas station and a deli. Great host, very clean and a good kitchen.

Posto tranquillo e pace assoluta, le stanza non sono molto spaziose e sopratutto se avete due valige grandi non è semplice posizionarle, ma hanno tutto l'essenziale per un soggiorno confortevole, sono spartane ed essenziali. La cucina non è fornita di piano cottura e non è grande a sufficienza per accogliere tutti gli ospiti, ma ha l'essenziale per per prepararsi una colazione o cenare con cibo acquistato altrove o preparato freddo. La posizione è stupenda, affaccia su un fiordo tranquillissimo, la piscina pubblica a pochi passi è un plus notevole, sopratutto nelle belle giornate. Insomma posto tranquillissimo e ideale per sostare 2 o 3 giorni durante il proprio tour dell'Islanda.

Sehr einfache und unkomplizierte Unterkunft! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber und ruhig. Eine Gemeinschaftsküche (kein Herd und Ofen. Dafür aber Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle und alles was man dafür braucht) ist vorhanden. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön gelegen!

Naprostá spokojenost. Za málo peněz spoustu muziky. Vlastní koupelna v pokoji. Vyhřáté. Jen ve sprše šla špatně regulovat teplota vody. Kuchyňka malá, ale stačí. Okolí úžasné. Hofsos jsem si zamilovala.

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer haben ein kleines aber schönes Bad mit Dusche. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist mit einem Kühlschrank, einer Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher und Geschirr ausgestattet.

Had parking in the back with amazing view, there were 2 cars blocking the parking in back which was annoying. The rooms were nice, but the shower temp and pressure were a bit off. The kitchen was small, there were glasses, cups, and plates. If you do drink coffee, I would recommend getting it from across the street at the gas station since at the house there is no creamer, sugar..

We stayed one night, found a pretty good guesthouse. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It also has a small kitchen where you can make your meals.
Opposite you have a supermarket and gas station. Have you got Wi-Fi.
Hofsos, a town not to be missed.
Also its pool is spectacular, incredible views.

If you come to Hofsós it is because you want to enjoy the Hofsós pool! This place is conveniently located at about 200m from it. The host was very kind to let us check out late (2PM) so we could enjoy the pool in the morning. Great value for money!
CON: The kitchen was under equipped (enough for a light breakfast).

Very nice. No frills but clean and great location. Peaceful.
