Great stay, very comfortable with friendly staff. The food was amazing. We had the roast lamb with potatoes and veg. Could have honestly eaten another straight after. Perfect location for us and good price. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A+++

Very short stay after a long day. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom was also clean and tidy. We needed to catch a ferry the next morning and needed to leave before breakfast. The staff accommodated us with some items we could take for the drive. We did a driving tour around the island and this was one of the nicest places we stayed at. Would come back. P.s the views were amazing

This place is magical. By some people’s standards, it can seem very isolated. That’s a good thing. The views are incredible. You get a direct view of Snaefellsjökull Glacier. You are 2 minutes away from Lysuholl, a family-owned guesthouse and horse farm which offers horsebackriding on the beach with icelandic horses. Highly recommend. The room was clean, spacious (take one with your own bathroom). No, there aren’t any shampoo/conditioners, but you can bring that yourself. Would definitely go again. PRO TIP: when checking in, make sure you make your dinner reservation for the upcoming days. You always need one :)

We where here today and got some coffee and homemade Icelandic cake after one hour in the swimming pool. The staff at this place were so friendly and welcoming us.

This is the cutest guest house! Simple rooms, but more than comfortable. Breathtaking views of the mountains and plains. A very warm welcoming from all the staff really made this place special. Good food at the restaurant too. I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful guesthouse with stunning views on Snaefellsjökull Glacier and Volcano. Great food, comfy beds and a setting that is out of this world. By the way, best value for money on the peninsula.

We had the most amazing 3 night stay here October 2021. You were traveling with two other families with children. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The meals were delicious. We ate breakfast and dinner there multiple days. The Kast Guesthouse is centrally located for touring the beautiful Sneallfesnes peninsula.

Stunning location. Nice accommodations. Perfect service. Good food, especially the homemade bread at breakfast.

A real gem in a rural area
Pros: The staff was amazing- very attentive and friendly. The room was very functional, and the public building and restaurant were very warm and welcoming. The dinner was fantastic
Cons: The rooms are basically a static caravans attached together facing the parking lot- it felt little bit unprivate, but its a subjective feeling. It was very windy night, so we could hear the wind below the entrance door. The bath soap dispenser was empty.

Great place to stay in Snaefellsness! Very nice staff, clean rooms, comfortable bathroom, you can get a hairdryer at the reception. Coffee and tea are for free and the breakfast buffet is nice! The restaurant is very good, big recommendation! Only the curtains could be a bit stronger to darken the rooms during the bright summer nights

Rooms and beds are comfortable, clean. Dinner was delicious and beautiful spot right off the road. Perfect location to explore the peninsula.

Love love this guesthouse! The people who work here are so kind and helpful, even offered me a hairdryer! The location is also superb to all major sites in Snaefellnes. We also saw some amazing northern lights behind the guesthouse peeking over the mountains. It was such a lovely time. The breakfast buffet is also top notch!

Had a wonderful rest while doing a 10 day drive round Iceland. The sunset view right in front of the reception area is AMAZING.

The place is very nice just below the glacier. The room was perfect, they were so kind to offer us a room with private bathroom. The breakfast is awesome!

Amazing view, great food, and friendly service.

I did not stay at the guesthouse but I ate breakfast here. It was the only restaurant we could find open before 11am and I'm sure glad we did. It was LITERALLY the best omelette I've ever had. The service was friendly too.

Amazing guesthouse, beautiful views, dinner and breakfast are delicious. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets make you feel at home. There is under floor heating!

Located in the midst of Snæfellsnes with all the stuff worth seeing in close driving distance.
Close to grocery shopping, beach with seals, lots of nature - do stay here, it’s perfect value for money.
