The most magical place in Iceland!

La cascade n’a pas beaucoup d’interêt. Prenez de quoi boire et manger pour vous aventurez sur le chemin montant tout au long du glacier. La randonné est longue 19km (5-7h de marche en fonction du niveau) mais elle vous offre un panorama somptueux. Les points de vus sur les glaciers alentours, les sommets enneigés et l’océan au fond méritent quelques sueurs. L’itinéraire est à récupérer au visitor center.
Si une seule randonnée doit être faite en Islande c’est définitivement celle-ci.

Wirklich sehr schöner Wanderweg. Unten sehr idyllisch, danach geht es aber ziemlich steil berghoch mit spektakulären Aussichten auf die kleine Schlucht. Sehr zu empfehlen. Am Schluss landet man beim Sfartifoss.

All'interno del Parco dello Skaftafell Svartifoss é l'ultima e più scenografica delle 5 cascate che il fiume fa. Tutte e 5 sono visibili nel sentiero di circa 30-45minuti che sale fino a Svartifoss. Il percorso é ampio, facile anche si piuttosto in salita, soprattutto nel tratto iniziale. Nei dintorni anche altri sentieri che portano alle lingue di ghiaccio del VatnaJokull. Bella anche la visuale sul Sandur che sconfina fino all'oceano.
