Hotel-Restaurant Gosauerhof

Nothing to say about hotel as we stayed at different place. But we were recommended to have dinner there and it was just perfect for New Year eve. Very tasting food, family atmosphere and perfect service. A bit uncomfortable to come from Gosau center if you dropped a car to drink a beer.

We stopped at the restaurant after hiking Gosausee.
The food was excellent and freshly made. We can certainly recommend the Rindgoulasch and Wiener Schnitzel. Service was friendly and fast.

We would consider staying here overnight in the future.

We stopped by for late lunch after a 1/2-day visit to Hallstatt, seated outside with two 7-year-old. Selections and service were very friendly and promptly; not busy during Saturday around 3pm in October. Great view and lots of parking. Highly recommended.

Passing by driving from Hallstatt to Slovenia and stopped for lunch. Food was tremendous, priced super reasonable, wait staff was very friendly, and the scenery from the front patio was beautiful while I enjoyed a cigar with my espresso. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it. The local beers on tap are the icing on the cake.

We arrived for dinner only, at the end of a long day. On the 1st of May it was in between the winder and summer season, so guest were a few. When we arrived all the other guest were finishing, but as an advantge we got our orders super fast. Very nice dishes and very friendly staff. Some of the window tables have an awesome view of the mountains.

Fantastic lunch spot with a gorgeous view of the mountains nearby Hallstatt! Lunch opened at 1130. We were lucky with a beautiful sunny day to sit outside. Service is friendly. Menu has good choice and is well prepared. We chose the slow cooked beef and apple strudel with vanilla sauce, tasty. Credit card was accepted. We left beyond happy before our venture into Hallstatt.

Dinner be was excellent. The quality and presentation were outstanding.. Flavours.. wow. I would certainly recommend eating here.. we will again tomorrow.

We visited the restaurant. Nice dishes, full of flavour. The little playground nearby was great. Our children could play while we waited for our food.

Great view, beautiful location, much better than Hallstadt. Older hotel, no fridge or kettle in the room, basic breakfast but very good coffee! I overall recommend however you cant expect sth else then it is - a clean, pleasant cosy old faschionned place.

One of the best stays and experiences I have had. Very friendly staffs who are always ready to help. Will be back here again in the future if I visit Gosau.
